All I gotta say is wow, what a journey. I feel like I grew along with all the characters because the character development COOKED. Can’t wait for the side stories!
I know some people are just going to be like ew shit story due to seme being a dickbag rapist. I mean, you ain’t wrong lmfao, can’t argue there because I felt the exact same way. The story started off so slow and I highkey had to tough it through all the non-consensual sex stuff. But at the same time, all this fucked up shit made sense. Literally everything is supposed to be a shithole and you just gotta live thru it. Gang/mafia, debt, depression/suicide….like it ain’t all pretty rainbows. Idk what I’m saying, it’s 5am no sleep me talking. Creator did a good job framing the desperation, loneliness, and various levels of relationships between all the characters well :D and at the end of the day, I do love me some fucked psychological(ish) BL
one complaint is that IM SO ANGRY THE DAD GOT OFF SCOTT FREE. Maybe something happened throughout all the mess but my brain just didn’t notice it. UGH I WANT HIM DEAD RESURRECTED ONLY TO BE TORTURED AGAIN
I guess what I wanted to say is that all this redemption character development build up worked really well (unlike some other stories where they just brush all the wrongs aside like nothing ever happened lmfao)

Initial thoughts: omg it’s finally completed!!! Overall very good story but some parts just don’t make sense (maybe I read too fast and missed something idk)
Questions/plot holes:
1. If this is a book story, who is the MC in her previous life? What was the original story like??? If ML is villain, and Therion (spelled wrong) is the actual hero/protagonist, what actually should’ve happened???
2. Why did MC dream about transcended mage Rein??? What role does he play into story??? When I saw this scene, it made me think Rein like turned back time or something since he has seen multiple different universes/multiverse of him living different lives and he knew ML lived a tragedy (aka the original novel plot) and he wanted to change it. Overall, very weird scene like why did they smash lmfao. Normally would’ve dismissed this scene as her just dreaming about the original story but it’s the fact that transcended Rein INTERERACTED and told the ML she shouldn’t be in this space makes it all so confusing!!!!!
3. Lmfao therion who should’ve been the main protag was such a “filler” character ;-;

Overall: pretty refreshing story! Been about time we have one of these regression type stories be pretty dark and fucked up. I love psychological stories!!!

Apparently smth happened when they were kids and she really like his vibe/smile/etc…but does that really warrant all of the emotions she feels for him later??? I can understand having immense guilt for being the reason why 2nd prince ruined ML’s life thru controlling FL, but that’s it.
What makes sense to me:
Guilt, yes.
Severe longing and passion? No.
Overall, I find her weakness around the ML not very tasteful and confusing. I could even go as far to saying I actually hate scenes with the ML and FL together- it just feels so forced (like we skipped 50 chapters of context between them). Girl why do you even like him so much????? IT DOESNT MAKE SENSEEEEE
You don’t need to think that deeply about it. The point is they’re in love with each other and at a time when she was looked as the black sheep, he treated her kindly and lovingly. The fact that their love endured for years is actually enough to understand why it’s still going strong. Love isn’t always driven by some big gesture or reason. In fact, a lot of the time, the reason is next to nonexistent. Hell, it would make more sense for the ML to love her as she is now than as she was before, in their past lives, yet he did love her as well.
The webtoon’s entire plot is she’s seeking revenge to atone for the man she loves. It’s not even for herself that she’s doing it, so it makes sense she’s weak around him. I for one think she should stop rubbing away from him because it’s getting ridiculous since she’s hurting herself more every time. I get why she wants to protect him, so I’m hoping he can tell her he remembers the past as well so they can work together rather than apart.
Easy. They were MARRIED for years before she turned back time. She still has all of her memories of when they were together.

About a good 15 ish chapters, the two will confess their feelings and become a couple. Might be a bit off cuz I don’t understand Korean but the two definitely are lovey dovey and respect each other. I will say, it was a really good banger (considering how I sacrificed my sleep for this), but I do have lots of questions and I was so confused for half of the time reading this lmfao, I wish there were clearer distinctions between flashbacks to the past vs the current timeline. Also, I am still confused if the third brother (nie smth? The one with the fan) did something bad???? Like before the Jin main bad guy died, he tried to blame Nie????
I do also wish there were more elaboration with some of the other characters (like what happened to that guy with the shattered souls of the two blind people ;-;, WTF happened to Xue Yang, and SO MUCH MORE)
Overall, Lan Zhang was so cuteeeeeee and I loved him with Wei Xian. The uncensored scenes were so smeggsy heheh
I think I will have to read the novel to fully grasp the hype behind this work as the manhua had a really strong start but it fell short a bit near the end lol
