Not only that but the way her character was written, I don’t see any emotions at all, i can’t see her fall in love and be all lovely with the prince. She just look likes a doll that as one objective and that’s it, very one dimensional.
The ML agreed to be his puppet, developing "romantic feelings" was not part of the FL's calculations/plan, and when she realized that the ML was wanting more "Physical contact" she had to cut him out through the means of "marriage to the red lady". It's actually quite well written in my opinion. she has one goal in mind and that's revenge, REVENGE for torturing her and forcing her to do things that are beyond her sanity could handle, You can't really blame her for losing her empathy, She was turned into a weapon and was forced to serve the empire for hundreds of years. She only wanted acceptance and honor from her family. So tell me how is she a doll? when shes actually straight-laced focused on getting her revenge, to me she's a badass.
i mean i get ur point but the thing is she was treated like a stranger by her family killed and turned her into a sword by the emperor who she respect and was loyal to (characters are written by the creator to have their own perspective and feelings ( i know this sounds cringey)( so look at their own perspective) i get what you're saying by looking at the crown prince's perspective but looking at the MC's perspective i dont see what you're saying

That's the fucking point, this sin't some shoujo where they overcome everything with the power of love and friendship. This is as real as fantasy can get, you use people, manipulate them to get what you want. EVERYBODY DOES IT, no matter if they want to acknowledge it, they have manipulated someone to get what they want.
The fl does not owe anyone any sense of mercy, let alone the royal family who she has held centuries of hate for. If you want to read about a female lead who was reborn but doesn't cross a moral line go read "Abandoned Empress" or something like that. You can dislike it, however this romance is not built on fluff, and is not developed through fluff. It is built on trauma and revenge.
That's intentional, and serves a purpose in the story as well. She is meant to be cold, and objective, the reason why you can't see her falling in love is because you're not supposed to. This doesn't make her character "one-dimensional", she is cold, objective, revenge driven, but she has also shown moments of being able to care for Dylan (even if not out of some good in her heart), her character of growing away from her family, breaking free of meaningless shackles.
I really don't see "one-dimensional" just because she does not fall into the typical "shoujo standard", women can be cold and objective. The point in having her cold now is for Dylan's development, not necessarily hers.
You can want more emotional development for the fl, but "one-dimensional" is objectively wrong. If so, then someone skipped over a lot of details.
her character was written to be an abandoned princess who suffered for hundreds of years. You think after CENTURIES of trauma she would still be all lovey dovey romancey? OBviously she has one objective because for 600 years she was focusing on that goal, that goal would not change when she finally had the opportunity to take it out. If you want to read a real cliche romance go find something else
I kinda agree with you on this one. I mean, it’s not like I don’t expect to see any loveydovey or softy kind of emotions, but she’s kinda too mannequin-ish, no real (or even realistic) personality except for her past. Like I get that she has to be that way after all the things she had gone thru, but meh, i think she lacks the part that makes us want to cheer for her or feel the same hatred/thirst for vengeance or whatnot. If I had to set an example of a well-written protagonist, it has to be that girl from Shadow Queen. Charlize is kind of bland. And might I add that the development from the ML was kind of underwhelming (for me), but that’s a topic for another time.
