I normally hate plots like this when they aren't even related but for some reason this story draws me in. I still don't like when guys are too possessive of girls who are neither claimed by them nor see them that way and I don't want any form of brother-sister pair to get together, but I still love this story so much. I hope MC isn't forced to have no contact with guys because of this or if she does then she addresses it.

Seeing all these isekai like this makes me worry about the Japanese people and their overworking culture. So many isekai have the protags either dying from overworking or being so happy to reincarnate and leave their lives in Japan behind.

Japan seems to be kinda a tiring society tbh.
All the overworking is pretty sh*t and all those unpayed overtime hours or meetings meant for improvement discussions etc which are payed in countries like mine but aren't in japan and more is just piling up on the normal workers stress level
Even the society itself seems tiring.
Just recently I saw a report on television saying some japanese person is making money by allowing and supporting japanese people to cry...
they pay to have a place to cry and let out their emotions every week - get for example supported by being shown some emotional vid and start crying in a group while at most the crying-seminar manager is allowed to have contact with the crying customer... uh yeah may sound odd but it seems to be a good business there - which is more than sad,
Cause their reason being not allowed in society to show their emotions... how damn sad is that - those naturally also need to be squished into their already cramped time schedule... and there is so much more to say but we all pretty much know it's rather sad...(/TДT)/

Don't get me wrong, the novel is great in which it's cute and all but it lacks substance and is mostly just the MC doting on Ravi. He does the same in the manga but characters like Dario bring out other elements of both him and the story. Dario, for example, isn't in this scene at all. We don't get an explanation of the different levels of magic, we don't see what the MC used to be like and how he differs now because he is a humble person that doesn't think about himself. Things like this give some backbone and substance to the story rather than it just being the same old doting father that we all love. For that reason, I hope that Dario either stays as the big brother of this adventuring family or others come along to set up scenes like this.
Desir didn't lose his composure in the novel nor was Adjest separated from the group. This is a new scene!
Do you know where i can read the novel?
