Wow, that was fucked up, the ending was well done and how everything led to it was excellent, but like why tf are they just incessantly sexualizing Kei? Like the dude was just a little boy and shit like all the other boys, their age and older are just sexualizing him, and the video camera thing was so incredibly fucked up, I don’t understand, the story repeatedly implies that Kei was so beautiful that boys and men couldn’t help themselves, this is motherducking child, idk, and that step dad? What a piece of shit.

YES THANK YOUU. Especially the stepdad, that was sick. Honestly I think that could be omitted from the story and it wouldn’t change much. Every interaction Kei had aside from his mom and brother was sexual. Couldn’t he have had a friend or something?? Like you said he’s a KID does he have to be shown having sex all the time?
Also, anyone else also have have random pangs of discomfort and horror at the fact that slaves exist in this manhwa and it seems that no one gives a fuck about trying to stop slavery? They are just like aight, let’s continue to oppress a bunch of ppl while looking down on them and move on with our lives, yep, this is ok and normal
I definetly forget about this a lot of times reading, but yes, not really the them existing but the looking down on them (a lot of people still exist with positions similar to slaves, and slaves).
Preach. and the fact that Rashta was written as a flat villain: considering she was a slave, being opportunist and willing to rise higher in society would be understandable. The author really glossed over the slave condition and that’s a bit messed up. And when it is mentioned, it’s to show that Rashta is unfitted to be in the palace and that’s it
I'm gonna use this to recommend The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass, it's such a good one, she starts as the daughter of a prostitute and the story progresses nicely.
I came accross this title several time but I didn’t try yet. So I’m gonna start, that seems nice!
Well, it is mostly a revenge story, but i really like it
Oh hell yeah, I’m going to read this right now
