The worst part is that she could have had it all with Evelyn, she could have loved her, left with her, and had her by her side. But she was already too broken at that point to accept any new kindness, and that's what makes it worse.
Don't bash me for this, but I think y'all are shitting on the reborn mc's characterization while mischaracterizing her. Please read what I gotta say before y'all disagree or agree TT
Firstly, yes I feel like the clumsy thing is a bit much, but it also kinda makes sense. She never had to do busy work in her life before, it was relaxing for her as a princess. I also think it is a bit annoying how naive she is, but I'll cover that soon.
The reason she got sucked up into her death was because of her naivety. She failed to understand or think about what giving a mortal an eternal life would do to them. From what I remember, she gave it to him without telling him, and I'm not saying she was evil or messed up for doing it, but she was being a bit selfish by not thinking about how he felt. We found out he wasn't happy with being immortal and went crazy, but it took all of that for her to realize that maybe she hadn't made the right choice at all, and her loved ones suffered because of it.
The MC was in a position where she did not have to work for respect, she was already super powerful and born into an influential family (she is literally a god). She always had people around her to take care of her, as we can see with the tigers, and she also said that she knew that her past self would show her kindness because that's the type of person she is. She also observed things she never thought possible about the people around her, such as her tiger's worse personality traits. She had the position to act kind and carefree, a facility she no longer has because the people who took care of her dislike her presently. She did not deserve to get cheated on at all, but she didn't consider that would even happen because she was so protected from the world.
Overall, she's been presented as a naive young woman, and I feel like all of her virtues as a goddess have covered up her flaws, which are more prevalent now that she is a human girl with nobody to cover for her.
So overall, you can hate the MC all you want, and the story too, but she's not acting out of character. I don't know why I wrote this other than the fact I see women get shit on too much on this website when they aren't as easily understandable to the average skimmer. (〜￣△￣)〜
