I thought the new chapter was very interesting as this new backstory is added to Seungho's past.we're finally seeing some layers. I'm kinda guessing that the medicine his father had him take had to do with him being gay, but also the 'imbalance of his yang energy' could pertain to an actual mental instability? perhaps bipolar?
also curious about Nakyum, as up until the recent chapter, he believed that he was to live his life destined as a prostitute of sorts, so I am wondering where the new finding's of Seungho's true feelings will take him. also the last scene with the hat was cute.

He definitely looks like he was abused by his father. The way his neck bruised as he was "dragged" to get treated. IDK if he was caught and his father was just homophobic but it is definitely suspicious. Despite his mental diagnostic the physical signs are showing. even the doctor noticed that he was active and had a bright energy so somethings up.

did the seme conveniently forget his plan to hold the uke hostage, develop his uterus, impregnate him, force him to give birth, and then kill him?
that's a great memory he has there. must be nice to forget you're an awful piece of sh*t

EXACTLY! Like it’s so annoying seeing the seme ‘fall in love’ and become ‘whipped’ when really he already manipulated the uke’s body and is preparing him for a child w/o the uke knowing. He literally planned to impregnate him and then watch him die (bc apparently he wouldn’t survive the preganancy). Fucking disgusting.

Anubis is hurt. i'm calling the police.
i forget the woman's name, but she's a diabolical, manipulative sexy monster and you have to respect that.

okay, so, rude, condescending tone notwithstanding, it's technically not wrong that a character can be a horrible, disgusting person that is hated by everyone who consumes the work of fiction, but still be a well-written and layered character, that has his own past and reasons that, to them, justify their actions(even if it's 'just' the fact that they are the literal embodiment of chaos and destruction) and honestly, i also like sekhmet, meaning that i like the way mojito writes her character, and that i like the element she adds to the story, her desire to bring chaos and misery etc. i still want her to jump off a cliff and let seth be happy tho, and realize that she is an awful, awful person.
(also, it's kind of shitty af to be rude to ppl just cause they don't share your opinion? like dude, just cause you like the way a character is written doesn't mean everyone else has to, too. that ain't how opinions work)

See I'm annoyed because everyone hates Osiris and rightfully calls him out on his bullshit. Except nobody seems to do that for Sekhmet despite literally doing the same thing as Osiris and letting Seth get raped. Nobody seems to want to do that to her and like to ignore her actions and continue to like her while hating Osiris for doing the exact same thing. So yeah I'm gonna be kind of annoyed when you have 2 unlikeable characters but one gets treated better than the other simply for having a vagina.

no one said anything liking Osiris, just you; my thoughts towards him are similar to Sekhemet's, though again, two entirely different characters. and again, he is another character I can appreciate. I love his character design. I love the twist that the author put on the ancient legend of Isis and Osiris (in legend, he's a hero, but here he is a villain). It's absolutely genius. but he wasn't really in the chapter that was released when I posted this? why the hell would anyone be expected to insert him as the main topic?
again, don't be mad that people can have a broader mind than you. just accept that you are narrow minded and move on. the author tells the story from Set's perspective and makes him the main character, yet he has still done awful things during his reign of power and led many to their death. our sympathies lie with him, of course, because we see his tragedies within the story and not those who have suffered tremendously because of him. This is a story about GODS. if you have never researched ANY mythology (your comments seem to suggest that you have not) then you would know that ALL of the gods have committed heinous acts, in mythology and in this story. The goal is to think objectively, and appreciate the story.
the author wouldn't have made so many amazing characters if she/he wanted you to do appreciate them. again, it doesn't mean you have to love them. THINK OBJECTIVELY JESUS.
as for female representation within BL, HOW DARE YOU accuse the readership of being so narrow as to liking a character solely because she 'has a vagina'. Female representation in these stories is incredibly rare, and if they are there, 99% of the time, they follow tropes. the author took an incredible risk at having so many lead female characters, and yes, she should be praised for it.
having a feeling this might be typical and I think I'm ok with that. I like the art and the omega is super cute
