OMG an update! my wishes have been granted.
is it bad that i want Hyoudou and Yukio to end up together? I feel guilty for shipping them, but I think that although it might not be the healthiest paring, as Tetsu might be the better option. But I feel like Hyoudou is just what Yukio wants, and he is someone who's never really gotten what he wants. Plus, Hyoudou obviously has his best interest.
I hope nothing ends in tragedy, mainly
This is what made me think it could happen too but at the same time won't? Cause hyoudou was so close to his dad...like a brother

Hmmmmm hyoudo is more like a gardian now. He feels guilty and wants to protect Yukio because he could not do it for Tsubaki.
FFS thanks for saying that haha I feel less alone, I also kinda feel guilty to ship them ( ̄▽ ̄) I mean it’s obvious the better choice would be Tetsu as he’s all young and NOT INVOLVED in the Yakuza world... but idk it’s just that I absolutely don’t feel any alchemy between them, when it comes to romance I mean. I looove their friendship, but I can’t seem to see them as lovers ô.ô But idk even if I’m not one who usually ship when there’s such a big age gap - without talking about the fact he was very close to his parents ahem - here I can’t help but root for them. And as some comments mentioned here there’s this strange scene who doesn’t seem to be drawn with just the intent to innocently show a guardian taking care of a young one... But that’s not the only one tho, other scenes seem quite suspicious to me haha, but I already wrote way too much. Well to sum up, I ship them too for some odd reason and I can’t help it ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
ok, I don't know if anyone will be able to answer this, but I have a question about chapter 44....
spoiler.

so when Inhyun was leaving, he seemed to have some kind or revelation about Nakyun and Seongho. Does anyone know what he was thinking about/ why he sort of stopped and thought about those moments between NK/SH?
I didn't get that part so some enlightenment would be appreciated.
It seems like he finally figured out that SH cares about Nakyum for real... which gives him the opportunity to further manipulate NK if he needs to eventually.
Till now I think he never really realized how SH was being so obsessed with NK. Inhun say to himself 'till the very end he (seungho) always mentioned nakyum whatever I said.' Then he visualized the times he saw them together and connected the dots, nk= sh's weak point. Then he also says 'it seems like he(nakyum) still can be useful.' And left,, so it seems like he will still try to manipulate Nakyum in the future.
But here again he fails to realize that BNK has no longer any admiration for him. BNK won't contact him any more. Asking to throw the painting away shows that BNK doesn't care any more for him.
But Seungho is not stupid like this learned sir... he is well aware that BNK has become his weakness. If not, why would he have a servant following BNK, while he is alone all this time... Notice that BNK was sent to the tailor with his loyal servant and Seungho arrived much later alone. Jihwa and In Hun are not aware that BNK is no longer alone but he has someone by his side.
I think NK is far from being done with his love for his teacher. If it was the case, he wouldn't stand there waiting for him to give him his drawing and say good bye (and probably good luck as well). His last discussion with In Hun made him feel worthless of his love. He blames only himself and never reconsidered his teacher's intentions. He threw himself in SH arms as a self-punishment. He is still craving for the learned sir attention and respect. Even SH is aware of that. He actually cares so much about NK that he even asked In Hun if he will say good bye to NK before leaving. To what the teacher replied: "Is it necessary?". SH also managed to send him away quickly for his exam because he knows NK's mood is still influenced by his teacher. He wants to get rid of him and finally gain NK's attention.
Yes, he waited but in the end, he decided to throw away the painting and this marks a turning point for BNK. Someone wrote that BNK added that In Hun wouldn't have appreciated the painting. All this shows that BNK has given up on In Hun. On the other hand, In Hun might have even forgotten what he told BNK... since he is a low-born and prostitute, why should he pay attention to BNK's feelings? So in my opinion, In Hun will try to reconnect with BNK in order to get more support.
The question is: will In Hun succeed with the examination? It would be interesting if he failed...
I globally agree with that but I think NK wanted to give this painting to IH to like finally let those feelings go, the servant even said something like 'it seems you put a lot of feelings in this one' but seeing that he(inhun) already left, nakyum just asked the servant to throw it away anyway. When he made eye contact with seungho we can see that he's no longer afraid or embarrassed, I truly do think that he's trying slowly to move on, but obviously those strong feelings he had for inhun won't vanish this easily.
When he was waiting for In Hun, he no longer showed any excitement. He was quite passive compared to the time, when he heard about In Hun's arrival and almost jumped into his arms. Notice the contrast between the arrival and the departure of In Hun... BNK was not smiling, he just wanted to give him a painting as a sign of respect, since the ex-teacher is a noble. But that was it. BNK never came looking for him.
Furthermore, it looks like In Hun left the mansion through a different door (the entrance for the nobles), while it looks to me that BNk was waiting at the entrance for the low-born and servants. So In Hun never came to his side confirming what In Hun had told him previously. He never showed any care and respect for him.
To me, In Hun is always one step too late and too emotional in reality. Even Seungho is not really expecting him to succeed. The deal was proposed because of BNK, since the latter remains by his side now and is painting, Seungho no longer cares for In Hun.
OK, just started reading, I'm about 6 chaps in and I HATE the seme. he consistently rapes the uke. please tell me there is someone who swoops in and saves the uke? like this isn't the actual seme, is it? it can't be, can it?
I'm sorry to say but the best friend stays as the seme, he does improve a little but still only really thinks about having sex with the uke cause he constantly brings doing it up... he does start to show that he also has genuine feelings for the uke and cares about him but I wish he layed off the sex talk a bit and gives the uke some space so that they can actually have a some what healthy realationship.

hmmm...little sora said that there are benefits for the monks if he lives on the mountain with them...were these benefits mentioned before? or are they yet to be revealed?
I feel like a curtain is inching open with every update!
Isn't it about how powerful Sora is? So, naturally, they want him to work under them. At least, that's how I understand it. Like, they sense "a huuuge power dwelling within him". More power => more money and authority.
hmm, you're right! that does make sense. I mean, I was kind of wondering if it was something a bit more specific, but a general answer also makes sense. power is profit for those monks!
Yea... Maybe we'll learn more about Sora's power later o.o Hopefully X)
Honestly, I can't wait! But at the same time, I don't want this manhwa to end soon.
