No it rly was. They totally rushed the romance part, the author barely touched on their progression of feelings, and literally none for the white wolf. It's such a last minute thought how they added that the black wolf now has liked him since they were kids.
And as I said the white wolves feelings were not talked about until the last chapters where we see he has feeling towards him but that was it the chapter just ended.
I agree like it was interesting very good art and a great concept like you said, but, I also felt like the story was running. It felt like I just started the story and it was already over. Didn’t even show us any type of romance between the two in my opinion. I’m over here like this could be shounen ai, this is not yaoi kind of crazy cause I feel like even in shounen ai they have more affection than what was showed in the story between the two. Felt like this was something that needed at least 10 chapters or something. Kind of a waste of a story it was a bit lackluster. I was a bit disappointed, and it was unfortunate when I was done reading.
This story is just short since its supposed to be only 1 volume that's why it felt a bit rushed. personally it's just alright and I wasn't disappointed it feels like their just letting us take a peek in their life without expanding much on the details which is just fine since it's probably made similar the format of those old short bl manga's that are only 1 volumes

- I think it's the most similar, again enemies but uke has been taken a slave and his house has fallen and similar to captive prince they killed each others family. (My personal fav )
