Honestly, this is one of those manwhas where the payoff is satisfying. Like, holy shit are the irl interactions of MC and ML fucking hilarious when we finally get to it. I'd compare ML to an overly cautious stray cat. The amount of times he ran away from MC and think MC is some creepo is hilarious.

I think it's cus the twitter post making the announcement straight up used the actual novel title written by the irl Dazai...people there straight up think the anime is a serialization of the nogel itself...
