Honestly, this is one of those manwhas where the payoff is satisfying. Like, holy shit are the irl interactions of MC and ML fucking hilarious when we finally get to it. I'd compare ML to an overly cautious stray cat. The amount of times he ran away from MC and think MC is some creepo is hilarious.
Recent chapters are adorable though, MC starts meeting ML's family despite not even being BFs yet..NOT EVEN FRIENDS. At best just neighbours

I like it. The fights are so fucking wacky and hilarious cus of the different ideas this author is coming up with. This would be one of the weirdest things ever if it got an anime.
I forgot to mention, i like MC's character. He's i guess what people would call a typical shonen character. The "boring loser" who somehow gets all the chicks but for some reason...he doesn't feel that way...like, he's not the whiny cry baby type cus he lived most of his life ostracized or a loner edgelord...i guess he's....average???? Like a normal dude. The feels of the story fit his character too. Easy going, feels good type. I'm kinda glad that characters aren't OVERLY fawning him...except for his fanilisrs but that's a given.
I'm kinda glad that this is not an isekai cus this has the vibe qhere an author would shoehorn an isekai subplot and forget about it LOL.
I like the feeling so far. Hopefully it'll lean more on slice of life/action. That would be neat, i wouldn't mind fleshing out the side characters too, they're all pretty neat. It's kinda funny how this manga has eyecandy for both men and women, like the familiars are animu women and there are handsome male side charas.
I wish they'd explore more about all of the spirits/gods that followed after the MC, and their effect on the kingdom they just left. Cus does that mean, as soon as MC moved to the og kingdom(for idk, maybe 2-3 years?? Guessing rn) that kingdom had an immediate development of their technology? They also developed a religion around the goddess that followed MC and many of their top warriors gained power through the spirits that followed the MC...
I think it's more along the lines of they were already there, and because he is the special tamer and generally a good guy they then left when he did cause he met them all at some point or word of him spread around them alot
