I have no other explanation other than if the priest was a twin but they never show the two priests together.

Honestly, I think it was solely a political thing, the MC was simply a hindrance for the politicians(royalty?) who wants the power of the hero. Well, when the big reveal happened, the deaths and situations never matched with MC's final moments/deaths that were explained in the first chapter. Remember how it said in her first life she died from shock? Well--she actually died from being lynched by the whole town I believe??(Also the first hero there matches the appearance of Demon Lord. People bellow speculate he became demon Lord in the first life when MC got killed and it's not hard to believe). Then more info is revealed about her previous lives and well----second life MC and hero actually got married. Nobles started meddling and well when MC goes out for a walk to clear her mind, she got stabbed by a servant or noble, Idk. Third life--well while the hero was away, it seemed she got...um..raped---thrown in a dungeon and was offered poison to kill herself. She takes it and while she was dying, the hero arrives but was too late. She ends up dying in his arms. Pretty much all I know currently

Oooohhh. So that explains the scene in chapter 5 (Im reading the raws the moment you said you bought it. But I'm only reading the free ones which is up to chapter 14) anyway, I got a lot of info and your story actually sums up with her traumas. Cuz, in chapter 5 she sees all 3 men trying to tell her something. And at first I thought it was bcuz of those political shiz (though it wasn't really reasonable) and, she gets those weird disgusting arms shiz appearing (which made me remember your comment about her getting raped)
Also, to agree to what you said some more xD. Why is there still some demons if the hero already killed him? So the conclusion is, the hero became the demon :D. Also, about the 2nd and 3rd life, maybe that's the reason why the hero's face was so dark and scary when the hero met the king in that specific chapter.
And though it may be a little obvious for you (cuz you read the raws xD) the hero remembers his past life as well right?

From what I could gather, there's shounen-ai elements sprinkled in the story between 2 students. (The one getting catfished and his black haired friend) although it seems one sided. Since this manga is ongoing, I'm not sure if the feelings are reciprocated, I also deduced that sensei eventually exposes his secret to a student(who was doing the cat fishing) did some heart to heart talk and I wish I could understand.
