This trend in isekai romance webtoon where the mc slaps « a bitch » (an unrespectful maid, a bully, etc) just after reincarnation, because now she « stands up for herself » really makes me uncomfortable. Since when slapping someone means you are confident and standing up for yourself ?
Most people slap others who are not able to slap back, I don’t see where is the confidence here. Use words and non-physical punishments : it shows that you have self-control and are clever enough.
And the people who says « yeah queen you slapped that bitch » kinda disgusts me. Do you really think you learn through violence ? (If so, that mean you think it’s good to slap a child for education). Or do you think some people should be beaten ? (If so I’m sorry for you that you live in the XXIst century where it’s most of the time illegal. A few decades ago, we thought that was barbarous you see ╮(￣▽￣)╭)

I remember reading it was about a man who got hit by a car and when he woke up he had a cheat system that he could appraise items with it also gave him missions mostly about earning money but if he finished them he would get attribute point that he could buy things with off the store and he could allocate them onto different areas to improve himself e.g.skill energy physic speed mostly what i can remember.

Hi I’m so sorry for this because this is really off topic :( so basically I’m looking for a BL manga, of which I could only read the first chapter. So the plot is like the MC A has to work on a project with a black haired and glasses dude (MC B) whose reputation is that he hooks up with every guy he can. So MC A was pretty scared to work with MC B, and once they go drinking and they clear the air. MC B admits that he’s gay, and that this reputation is only due to the fact that he was in love with a former coworker and was being clingy. MC A tells him that next time he likes someone, he should go step by step, and start by being nice and hold their hand. MC B agrees, and ends up holding MC A’s hand, without him noticing that it referred to that.

Its an omegaverse where the uke mc is in a band of all alpha’s and has the look and air of an alpha but is actually an omega and is hiding it. Yaoi that I read long time ago, old school style drawing don't remember the plot but I remember that it was about two separate stories with connection between them if I'm not wrong the semes are friends/colleagues, there was a scene were the two ukes ate some chocolate with aphrodisiacs in them and then one of them go grocery shopping when the effect start and the seme go and find him. After rereading this a few times, it is geniunly a great storyline, too bad the execution is confusing, which is a really pity as it had alot of potential. It made me cry so much when I understood it. By the way, I cannot bother with names. This is a rough summary so you are not confused but you won't actually feel emotions unless reading the actual manga since I skipped over details.

First Story:
There are twin brothers: an alpha i believe while the brother is an omega. Alpha is dating either a fellow alpha or beta (idk, lets call him a beta for now otherwise it is alpha 1 and alpha 2 and that would be much too confusing) they are so very inlove and have dreams of growing old together.

alpha and beta are walking and they decide to go eat somewhere, beta has a coupen for that place but left it at the school by accident so goes back to retrieve it, unfortunately omega is there, while in heat. In the end, beta and omega have sex, therefore marking eachother and omega is pregnant. Obviously, Alpha is heartbroken and cuts ties with all his family and friends after this.

Years later, Omega passed away due to a disease. alpha goes to funeral and meets beta with the daughter. Beta gives Alpha letters that Omega wrote while he was in the hospital, talking about how he was sorry that he always took away what the alpha wanted and he truly missed alpha, as he geniunly loved his brother.

In the end the alpha makes peace with this. I am bit confused about the end, he either falls inlove with beta again, they get back in a relationship or he remains platonic and, at most, becomes a father figure to the daughter.

Second Story:
Main character is an omega. He knows this pretty woman, she is an alpha. After some things happen, they have sex together. Later, they break it off, probably because it was an one night stand.

Then he sees this beta, thinks of him as his next toy for sex i guess. They do have sex a couple of times, and they get emotionally attached to one another, like they were inlove and happy with one another.

But it is revealed later that the both of them were using the other as a rebound, and guess what? the beta is married! He was unfaithful because he found out his wife had cheated on him, the wife turns out to be the alpha the omega had sex with.

In the end, they stop seeing eachother and go their seperate ways, the beta going back to the alpha and the omega getting a new proper lover.

Both stories just goes to show, that some relationships just aren't meant to happen and that life is cruel, but it does goes on.

I'm looking for a manga where the uke is ugly and handcuffs the seme, who is a play boy and sleeps with anyone but ugly boys. I remember they were in school in this manga and the uke had black hair. Can anyone tell me the name of the manga?

Do any others believe that reading manga/manhwa Is giving you unrealistic relationship standards?
Recently I’ve just been thinking that when I think about what a relationship should be....or at least what I want it to be. It’s something out of something I’ve read Or seen.
Mainly 3 different areas:

PHYSICAL LOOKS -which of course is definitely unrealistic to find a man as tall, and hot as some are portrayed in these stories

THE ACTUAL LIVES/STORY: as in....I’m sick of this boring ass world where everything is not exciting anymore....I want to be transported to a different world inside a book where I am the daughter of a “evil” king but he ends up loving me....and I grow up and befriend a cute prince and we grow up together and eventually get together.....and of course the world has magic....in which I happen to posses copious amounts of mana inside me.
Or I am in a world where I can fight dragons etc.
even worlds like solo leveling.....so long as I’m the OP main character lol.

PERSONALITY -which is also drastically different. Your not going to meet your dream man to Will be cold to everyone but you. Or if your into reading manga with some bdsm scenes (or slightLy controlling partner) but you also don’t want that in real life. But reading it makes you like it a bit. (FYI:don’t worry about me. I know the difference between mental abuse in stories vs real life. And I won’t ever let anyone do that to me....I just like it in stories).
It’s even hard to find a guy you just plain loves you....and won’t betray you in some way. I’m not saying I’ll shut myself out from the world. If it happens I’ll try it.

I just think this world is very boring and every friend I have is in a shitty relationship....or no relationship at all. People let you down. And that’s ok, it’s reality. But....these stories make it seem like something better should be out there.

I just like to loose myself in tvshows and manhwa when I am able too.
