This series is BRUTAL. I could write an entire essay on it, but I’ll keep it brief. Although it uses common tropes like codependency, rapist seme, damsel in distress uke, possessiveness, chaebol seme etc, it does it in a much more intelligent manner than many manhwas out there.
I like that they bring mental health treatment into this.
That being said, both their lives would have been better off had they never met each other. Or if that psycho bitch from high school had never existed.
These Sangwoo comments are hilarious. I also prefer the personsl guard as a potential love interest as well. But we know there’s gonna be a lot of violence before we come to any sort of conclusion.
At this point it’s become pointless to complain about rapist asshole semes and pushover inept ukes. And how their first sexual encounter is almost always physically painful for the uke.
It’s become so common now that it feels almost impossible to read a new smut manhwa without this trope.
I wish it wasn’t the case. But it’s definitely a trend that’s been building for a few years now. Maybe in a few years time there will be a new trend as attitudes change. I do hope so.
I think pleasuring an uke is so important. Both in terms of mutual gratification but also just general respect for another human being. Not every sexual encounter needs to be what’s essentially non-consensual BDSM/ rape.

Unfortunately this won’t stop. Until authors are truly hurt by dollars sign so to speak they’ll continue to make content that reflects their audience. Their audience tolerates and indulges in this type of trope and so it will continue. Granted who am I to judge as I write this on an illegal website and forum.
That’s basically the perfect uke for me. Fuck he’s so sexy. Regarding the story, it’s the obsessed younger seme trope which is predictable. But I wish the uke wouldn’t make his intentions so obvious. He could have gotten along well with the seme then left in due course.

I really don’t like the second couple. Martin doesn’t seem particularly nice and I hated when he grabbed Andy by the collar so aggressively. Andy was shaking afterwards. Although Andy is tactless he deserves better than Martin.
Andy was insensitive and we could say Martin overreacted but he started trembling after Chris told him “only I could say those 3 years were absurd”
The seme is 100% whipped. The misunderstandings are making him lose his mind with jealousy and I love it. I can’t wait to see more flashbacks regarding their first kiss. Initially I thought that it was a once off. But then we learned they made out even after the uke was punched. I wonder what happened after that to cause them to lose touch and the uke blocking the seme’s number.
The story would have still worked without the going back in time aspect. I think the author didn’t know how to integrate that into the main body of the story. That being said, I love the uke. Manly, slutty, can fight and can take dick. My dream guy.
The uke deserved better. But, I think we’re not supposed to think too deep and just treat this story as smut.
