I really cared more about Esper and Wind than the main couple. I was hoping for side stories with them. Their dynamic reminds me of Blue and Yellow/Beige from that Pappa Wolf story. I forgot the name.
Also, I like the seme’s mother. She’s not human, and in terms of morality and power views things differently from humans. So critiquing her from a moral or humanistic standpoint kind of misses the mark. Think of how we as human beings view ants or rodents. That’s probably how she views humans. The power differential is so large.
But also, I suspect that she has some kind of precognition or some insight regarding destiny, hooking up the seme and uke together. That was the only way to awaken the dragon powers. Turns out Mom knows best.
At first I felt sorry for the uke, but he’s been behaving like an idiot. Raped and mistreated but then fawning over the seme and then behaving hysterically about protecting the seme from the rival gangster. He said himself that he knows what kind of business the seme’s family is in so why is he acting like this? Does he have no street smarts at all?
Dude. The brother situation was not resolved. Did the abuse continue even after Tokio left as a child? How did he even end up staying with them in the first place. I wish this was clarified.
Edit: In the sequel, we learn that the brother was abused by his father, and was jealous that the younger brother was not suffering abuse. Therefore, he abused him.
It’s fucked, but I’m guessing stuff like this happens in real life. It’s just.. I dunno messed up.
None of the romances in this story or the sequel feel like actual romances. It’s just lonely people fucking other lonely people. Feeling a kind of attachment and behaving as if it’s love.
I've read some stpries and yes, sometimes the victim (older sibling) gets abused he will repeat the abuse to a much smaller person ( which most of the case is their ypunger sibling)
The story sets up the seme to be the cutie but it ends up that it’s the uke who’s the real cutie.
So good. I hated the villagers. They f*cked all the girls in the village to death. What the hell? But as others have mentioned, the seme didn’t have to assault the uke in his dreams, especially considering his past.
I’m on Chapter 10. These gays are MESSY. Damn. What kinda soap opera love lives do they have?
So did the seme date his ex? Or did his ex just put the seme’s picture on social media? And if it’s the latter how did the ex know the seme and uke were hooking up? And that the seme had a big dick? And in the motel towards the beginning of the story, was the ex really with the seme before the uke found him on the floor? Or was the seme lying? I wish the author would clear this up.
i'm not sure but might be the seme being manipulative like his eyes were always on uke and tried to break up his relationship, for example.
I love this manhwa. The uke is so badass. The same is cute and the yellow eyed guy/ demon is hot. But more importantly the story is so interesting. I love when the plot takes precedence over the romance. Especially is it’s supernatural/horror/mystery.
This story seemed more grounded in reality than other manhua’s. Like how fuck buddies would behave in real life. Of course not everyone was nice, especially the main seme, but besides a few issues, it still felt real enough to suspend my disbelief.
These chapters are too damn short. And I need these hot men to get married already.
