Will she though ? Because her love feelings for the blonde guy are pretty strong and I think unless he harms her, they stop getting involved with eachother or he betrays her they might not change so easily. So far they only things she had toward Cabel are fear and prude embarassement.

No if you looks into the past chapters, there are lot of moments where she was flustered by Cabel. I think a little bit more moments than with the prince.
But since the prince keeps that "angelic prince" attitude toward her, she believes he is the one. But again, her body and inner mind likes Cabel but since her impression of him is scary, she is still in fear. This reminds me of The Vampire Diaries, the relation between Damon and Elena. (Of course TVD is a bit wilder)

I keep seeing people call him suspicious, but what did he do? I might have just missed it in this chapter. Yeah, i think he might have feeling for our bb empress, but unless he set up smtg shady with the fireworks i dont see anything wrong

Yeah - I was kind of feeling off about him - the meetings with people out in the walkways/park, the way he is the one in charge of the investigation, and then the comment in the office just now about security having already been improved... just feels off, somehow.

I read that the blond guy will manipulate the black haired girl into thinking that she’s supposed to be with the emperor so the empress will be with him etc etc and the way he just dismissed the problem in this chapter screams suspicious asf.

I think it’s the fact that he wasn’t in the original storyline, plus things around him sometimes alter the way the story goes, like the time he caught her from slipping and had the emperor feel jealous. Also to me some of his facial expressions also seem suspicious when certain things are mentioned, and the time when the book went missing after the emperor told him to leave.

In one scene his mouth only showed. No eyes. That is a clear manga sign that the person is hiding something. Which means he is a suspicious person that must be destroyed for ships to sail. Manga detective out.

There is a lot of foreshadowing and strange things going on around him

e.g. The other guy suggested increasing security, he cut him off and said that it's not needed and that everything will go well. Him cutting the green haired guy off makes it seem that he was anxious about increased security which is exactly how a person planning shaddy stuff would feel.

I agree!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ One thing is Athy always seemed to treat Ezekiel as a friend more than a person she liked, I mean she did like him but not in the romantically attracted interested in you like.(⊙…⊙ )

Then again I am a bit more biased and preferred Lucas over Ezekiel as Ezekiel was too much of a prince charming for me and just generally speaking I don't care for the prince charming characters.(▰˘◡˘▰) I tend to more prefer reading stories of ml with dark hair or are guys who either in the rough or are a supernatural being which some those are traits that Lucas has so naturally speaking I tend to like him more.ヾ(☆▽☆) ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Yes! I’m the same. Prince charming types are just sooo overdone and used and I know it’s the same with the dark rugged type but Lucas just seems to have more personality, you know?

Also, you’re definitely right. I mean just look at the latest chapter, Athy looks so uncomfortable with knowing that Ezekiel likes her romantically. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
