okay I just thought about how imprinting would work and like, one author does like a crushed glans kind of situation and then it got me thinking to imprinting where they're both affected and then it went to GLANS IN ALPHAS TEETHS
EW OH MY GOD
i KNOw but the idea of like fleshy bits at the bottom of your teeth made ME NSKFJIUBGVIFJIVBUJFKFJIN and decided to put this horror on everyone else

Just off my brain,
- can't be dementia because he would have progressed and unable to make it back
- Could be brain tumour, but like it'd be BL logic, since the survival rate for brain cancer was like 14% back then and is only like 39% now, so like you know, peepaw real lucky
- Doesn't seem like a stroke since like it seems gradual rather than acute
- not multiple sclerosis since he's got pretty good mobility
SO, I'm betting on meningitis, something that fucks with cognitive stuff that can be treated but takes a while and is really severe
(It's not going to be meningitis, it's going to be brain tumour because BL logic, but like it'd make my heart really happy if I was right)

"Stabalised livestock-humans are valuable assets! Collect as much DNA and seman aspossible!"
"His genetic data might solve future food shortages"
"Its how we solved the labor shortage too! How else do you think the global population shot up to 8 billion?"
So like, they're making slaves right? they're assumingly forcibly impregnating people and turning their kids into slaves right?
Also, "stabalised" this makes me feel like the organic parts aren't from like aliens or DNA or something, but are actually non-stablised livestock-humans, that didn't survive the process and ended up as flesh creatures
Also like, I know theoretically the "solve future food shortages" is because Milton is a dairy cow so milk, but considering the absolute dubious schemes of the organisation, I wonder if they want to look at his DNA to see if cow hybrids are genetically different enough to be eaten as meat....

I'm placing bets on the person that Heart visited is the person telling him to play hard to get
Also, love that yall did a victor and now like dick because he's a simp for him xD yall literally went "he's so ugly I'd never fuck him hmph" to "well i guess if he love victor <3 <3 <3"

A different thought is, I wonder if it's henry soul
see now that'd be interesting as hell
because like
a. that means his soul is most comfortable with his heart and thats why heart is communicating with it
b. would be an interesting "punishment" for his soul, Henry fucked around with other people in his lover's home, now he's doomed to watch victor fall in love / fuck other people until he passes on to the after life
a. the baby being squished between both their chests is so funny to me
b. I boooooo at overdone brain tumour choice BOOOOOOO
Also, I'm so sorry but I can't help but think that maybe she wouldn't have died! If she was chose to move to the states with her bf than no house fire that shes in!!!!
Maybe its because I spent my whole childhood being a carer for my grandparents but goddamn man, yeah its really fucking sad but the moments where the person learns to walk again or gets new hearing aids or just silly moments are so damn precious!
I KNOW ITS SAD
but I also can't help but feel angry for her, she deserved to have that choice instead of him selfishly abandoning her because he was scared she wouln't love him anymore if he was disabled or because he thought she wouldn't get over him dying??
I continue to wonder why think people think dying is worse than abandonment! Even when theres unspoken questions, the comfort of loving someone who is dead and saying goodbye to them is SO MUCH easier kind of grief than losing the person you've fallen in love and had a child with because they ran away from you kind of grief OH MY GOD
He left her not because of all the reasons you said. He left her because he don't want her to be miserable, not to mention all the uncertainty around his recovery IF he survived the surgery. I'm not saying he's right for doing that nor am i saying he's wrong for doing that. This kind of decision, there's nothing wrong or right to say. We outsiders can only understand the reasons.
