When the story started i thought tha the stepmother would just be a good mother to Cinderella since she was the protagonist of the story+ her(the stepmother) just trying to save her ass only. But then i stump into this MASTERPIECE where the stepmother doesn't care who is the prettiest to treat her the best, but a woman, who is now a single mother of three daughters, where she doesn't have the help of nobody else but herself, who lives in a period of time when not having a men in the house is considered the wort thing that could happen to a woman. But this QUEEN doesn't need of a man to support her. She takes care of all her daughters equally and without biases. She prioritizes her daughters' happiness over hers. She lets them know that they are more than just physical appearances, and that they are loved regardless of anything. She's doing a pretty good damn job for someone who became a mother out of nowhere. It's truly beautiful. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Put yourself in her situation. Let's say that you have acknowledged that you are in a parallel universe. Then, at one point you go back to your original world without anyone noticing. Why would you invest more of yourself and time to a world where you don't actually belong, can disappear to at anytime without anyone remembering your existence and the memories they have with you but you yourself alone. It'd just be a waste to dat someone in the parallel universe so in this case Dan-I is thinking that no one can ever actually like her as she is cause it will all be momentarily and she WILL be forgotten in the end. She's in denial that she actually exists in that world
