Bit of a "WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'M" kinda story. Honestly there was a bit of plot... but I felt ALOT was unanswered.

hmmm story is ok, but I feel like all this … what I would consider "light cuckolding", is annoying. I know there's people who hate 3some plus relationships... but I feel like i'd have much preferred a multiple marriage system or something if they're gonna keep adding love interests at this rate. I mean they're not even love interests, they are just male studs directed at us readers to just get us amped up for love scenes with Ceasar. (honestly they're kinda so-so scenes after a while. I found them to be repetitive after the first few)
hmmm I actually like this story. I read a lot of similar stories where a woman gets a reset on their life and it's pretty boring when the character was never established to be intelligent or skillful only to miraculously have a solution to any task just from reliving the experience
Anyways, this story succeeds in giving an established "schemer" and the reasonings behind her actions are pretty sound. I also kinda like how she's a bit of a dour character because it'll give her reactions more of an impact.
im all kinds of conflicted... there's the nefarious events going on that leads to a lewd scene... then the MC's shounen powers activating at the end for an "alls well that ends well" scene.
I feel conflicted because the scenes don't match well in my opinion. It's lewd in juxtaposition to justice. Honestly I kinda think it would've been more drastic for the twins to be sold, … uhhh etc etc.. (I don't wanna think what he would've done to them) and killed them and have the MC even more tormented then have the teacher come in and be like... we were wrong, which would have drive him more mad in contrast to him just being beaten and abused
tl;dr if they're gonna go with this twist of him becoming a failure I would've gone for the jugular... I mean I thought the twins would've been sold before he returned home.
If it went down that route he would’ve given into the dangerous side of being a half elf. He prob won’t kill this guy either for the same reason. he is acting with restraint to not lose himself. It was stated she was going to turn him into a man earlier in the series. Not sure what is too confusing.
I never said I was confused, I was conflicted on the juxtapositioning. And I think a story is always better if does the impossible or goes far left of what should happen... in this case, him embracing his darkside and then going for the jugular and seeing what events unfold.

yea, I'm sure it's done a lot, but not doing it can be predictable and maybe even less climactic as well. The trick is how it's handled... like im sure the cliché would be he goes evil and is brought back and the day is saved.... *yawn!* lol but maybe it ends with him being evil... (probably not)
Regardless the twins are kinda going to be a bane for him in my opinion considering they most likely wont have any aptitude. I wont count them out entirely considering his foster parent's family kept books so clearly they were not normal slaves... but keeping books around is more ingenious than being gifted or talented.
This story is kinda bad... I feel like the plot is pretty straight forward. I also think it lacks immersion. It jumps from on point to another and it's hard to get a sense of characters. I can forgive the vagueness on why she needs to be queen... but wtf is up with the random loser assassins? and considering all the actions to spite him she could take none are made and she reacts like a kitten(aka does absolutely nothing)
seriously everyone at the castle knows she wants to kill the emperor and it's just like... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
its a 4koma story (think comic strip to those who don't know what that is)… kinda wish it wasn't but it's not bad considering it IS a 4koma. (most 4koma are jump back n forth a lot that it ruins the immersion in a story)
honestly I think this story is better than Solo Leveling in the long run. The main character is powerful but limited in his power and even receives a setback with him losing his eye. (i dunno if he will get powercreeped later but its fine for now). His allies are also suitably powerful and the main character while unique doesn't outright overpower the other characters in his team.
It's pretty lame how often i see a solo character that just gets stronger n stronger that i kinda lose faith in other character to do anything meaningful. and it becomes obvious that all meaningful items will just go to the main character like the hog they are... and if there's a good item but someone else gets it... nvmd there's something IMMENSLY BETTER AROUND THE CORNER!!... >.> .. oh and im strong enough lets finally start to give something to my love interest and allies... not that it'll matter cus you're still pitifully weak. lets not forget all those cannon fodder characters that we'll see for like 10 chapters only to die off and we'll NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN... *rinse repeat*
I think your opinion is quite true but there is a reason why the MC in solo leveling is so powerful, you will know later and he will also make some sacrifices and allies in the coming events. As the title indicates “solo” leveling is mainly about the MC because that is how is suppose to be. In my opinion both of them are amazing and different.
I'm not saying this about only Solo Leveling. In fairness, I think it's pretty good even with it's fair shair of flaws. I've seen way more blatant instances of terribly over powered character progression... but it's usually from chinese manwhas. Mostly cultivation stories with lots of random pill boosts and random explanations that mean nothing to a westerner.
I haven't finish solo leveling novel but it turns funny if he's not an op character.
I agree. For Solo Leveling, everything would only make sense in the very last arc, so the chances for people to misunderstand the story is high, but there is indeed a reason why he and the story is like that.

You should start to read the novel, why they're dead? Cuz 'someone' search on something. I really don't wanna spoiler but at the end of season 1 in manhwa, you should "think" the unknown person. Who they are? What are they doing in jeju island?
Like i said, its funny if jinwoo isn't an op character. Well this story and SL have same problem, the end of the world.
They're both mmo stories essentially... it's like comparing batman to the fantastic 4... they're handled differently but they're both in similar settings.
if anything, as a solo character, he should've experienced way more hardships. But he's just given immense power and very little struggles.

im not saying Solo leveling is the worst offender. I've just read alot of cultivation/leveling etc stories and the progression can be steep or have little... um... balance. Alot of them tend to just make the character be an all over the place unit with no balance. we all know mmos have different characteristics to balance... tank dps support healer mage etc and im sure there's correlating terms for chinese cultivation but most stories just forego the balance, ignore support abilities and make then physically strong, strong magic and almost close to perfect defensive capabilites.
Like... he LITERALLY almost had a healer/way to heal himself and his army... but the author probably realized he was getting too op... so he wrote in that "oh please dont take his soul" scene. (and honestly i was confused cus earlier his power mentioned that souls would lose the ability to go reincarnate or whatever after the soul is transformed)
