I feel like the story is backtracking a bit from when it felt like she was suspected of being Xia Ling from when she broke out as an artiste at Skyart.
Even though this isnt a true isekai, I found it interesting that she was "reborn" in the same time and place and the plot could maybe do some really fun twists and turns.
Now it feels like SirDouche has forgotten about it (he accused the horse but the horse wasn't wrong? and I thought he would've used that as more evidence???) ALSO they're giving him a pointless and confusing exposition with the grave:
-Now he's sad she's gone??? (didnt he kill her?)
-Now he doesn't care who sees his emotions? (for such a secretive person you'd think he'd mourn in seclusion or something)
tl;dr either im overthinking things or the plot is getting bungled
Honestly it would make an interesting plot if he was gay or bi even. There's just too many stories even for isekais where a woman slave or otherwise meets a royal man... These authors make their female leads soooo sacchrine or sooooo relatable and pair them off with some douche royal to be king?
It's clear shes gonna be his fiance but i'd rather her make him suffer in exchange (and definitely not fall in love so melodramatically)...
tl;dr Once you've read one, you've read them all, i'm not expecting much.
WTF I've been reading this to find out that this is ANKAMA'S WORK!!?? lol I've played Wakfu and seen the anime and now THIS??? I feel a bit betrayed to just find out that this connected to Wakfu. BAHAHAH... now im expecting to see tie ins from wakfu's anime now.
mmm so thats the potential of sight... i wonder if the other senses can be brought to that level. I know senses are a theme in this story, and smell, hearing and potentially taste are shown. (i dunno if touch is shown and the current person with sight is missing... but i cant wait til they finally reveal more about this obvious oddity)

mmm iunno for sure about those 2. I mean I can say those 2 myself but its sorta power ranger-y. (being around the same age passing the trials together etc etc.) With Tanjiro and Zenitsu, their senses are already activated without using skills and then Genya who can eat demons is kinda not directly a skill but a genetic trait as well.
Inosuke i can maybe say is plausible but there's never definitive proof that its not just someone enhancing their senses especially since he was raised in the wild by boars. And Kanao's sight ability was just a final form of her breathing:"Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye", not necesarily something that says she has unnatural eye sight.
