ugh... yet ANOTHER cannon fodder... UGH!!! Can these chinese stories stop with making a character to be cannon fodder? I kinda wanna see the main character be cannon fodder at this rate lol (I mean, not really cus thats still cannon fodder but man how many times do we need to see another grumpy bitch that justs gets shown up or worse???)

I actually thought this story might get an isekai treatment, which I appreciate. Too many stories give their characters the get a free life card to fix their life errors.
However, I did get the feeling that the story kinda rushed to give Leslie her Cinderella ending. Also... I was getting VERY confusing mixed messages. The first being that duke n duchess were getting too interchanged that when she was finally introduced I got STRONG yuri vibes (mostly because she had a female butler). My second confusing message was that I was kinda expecting Leslie to join the family. Essentially, she would be raised by them in preparation to marry one of the sons, but reading on its clear that her love interest is that Altera boy. (Which is still weird cus he goes to school with Entei and I assume Entei is around 20)
Anyways I may have buried the lead but I really like the story. Honestly now that I think about it I kinda wish they made her power more temperamental (maybe show off more sentience or personality to the shadows). It would have given more depth to her transition to a happily ever after.

First of all... There's more to assume she could be lesbian than just her being masculine. She's got power, a title and is widely feared. There was no mention of her husband at the time and she had a female butler. She's also a royal figure (you could assume she had kids out of duty than love... Royals tend to have offspring through any means)
Honestly when I think about it, for a royal family they're almost too put together. Even their servants appear too lively when Leslie eats. Just seems a bit disjointed considering that the family has a rumor that instills fear in people.

what an interesting little gem this turned out to be. Quite an original isekai. The event of death is original(seriously... there's way too many simple death explanations that I cringed when I came across one where they tripped and died), the setting before and after is a good reverse play on the regular fantasy reincarnation world, and I even like how they dealt with how the character is "OP"
Incidentally, I also noticed that it's associated with Square Enix. I dunno if that means anything good for it aside from assuring me of it's quality but I can only hope they put more investment into this manga.
PS they really should add a tag for all the literal smut scenes and boobs hanging out.

The smut adds to the experience Jk I know what you mean but luckily it's not overridden by smut and the scenes are minimal so it doesn't ruin the story more so than give it a little ....variety? I think that's the word I'd use...yeah variety. Overall it's a really good manga that is really refreshing to read.

im gonna just guess and assume this is a chinese story? They're always so blunt with terrible transitioning and reasoning. Im bombarded over and over with melodrama.
I only like 2 characters so far, but im willing to bet that they're gonna trash the one guy that deserves her better than her trashy "love interest"
tl;dr if you eat up any melodrama, this is for you, but i warn you, the story is trash.

at least this story isnt an isekai... (incoming plot twist?). Usually these stories have isekai undertones that get downplayed so much that it makes no sense why it was an isekai in the first place.
I already feel a sign of bad pacing considering she was ordered to help the palace out after being a loser... (there should be more build up considering she was utterly useless). now she's helping a gardener and then a conductor...
I hope they dont fall into a trend of her helping people over n over in a similar fashion because honestly, if they put two and two together she'd be found out sooner. I mean its not like she became smarter herself, just more capable, so it goes without saying that in this sense her ineptitude is maintained... tl;dr she's flaunting her powers and thinks she wont get caught??? and if she isn't, then this author CLEARLY made some inept aides for the prince.

yea i know it uses timelapses for some transitions... but its a bit of a crutch to me. I'd call it a minor weakpoint that they could improve on. My main issue will be if these "situations" just repeat. (like oh is she gonna help a chef bake a cake and then they'll be like, OWAOOOOOA THIS CAKE IS AMAZING MADE FROM AN ANGEL!!... but they cant find her etc etc....
I will say I do like how her power isnt so obvious (so far) so she has to sorta figure it out, but I wish it was more mysterious to figure out ourselves as well.

I have a few issues with this story. I'm completely perplexed that the main character has ZERO predispositioned skills upon her transmigration/reincarnation. While I actually like the character doesn't, it also feels too much like a normal story. It's an isekai but they barely have any mentions of it that I feel they should just cut it.
The lastest conflict seems oddly built up and then kinda rushed to finish. To clarify, i was confused why she ended up where she did, i thought she was just dreaming, then she suddenly becomes unresponsive out of the blue. (no to mention like how was the father so blind when the stone was tainted?) I also felt they could've emphasised her condition more, but I do feel the resolution was a correct one.
Overall, I think the characterizations for the most part are very in depth, but considering that dramatic twist, I feel it lacks the correct pacing in certain incidents... (but alot of these stories tend to be that way so meh?)

The part with the royal wizard did feel rushed. Like she could just become unresponsive on command, and she snapped out of it just like that as well. Sure it was implied that the experiment part went on for a while, but the webtoon makes it seem like she was gone for at most a few hours, and was all better again a day or so later. Like nothing happened.
Still a nice story, but the author needs to work on their pacing and what things to go a little more in depth on.
Not much smut, but sorta ecchi…
Reminds me a lot of Z-Pico's "The Boy & The Wolf." (BL/yaoi) It has a similar cliché of a macho mafia guy meets random love interest. The styles are also pretty similar with very thick chisled faces.
That’s a bummer the whole reason I got into it was because it said smut, though it looks like a good read even without it
