    Tue for lots of readers. Only a very few saw through the external and realized Carcel was a good person at heart. Also, Carcel didn’t get development. He got revelation. His character is very consistent over the timelines. Even Ines will come to realize this. She misunderstood him first and that’s where things went awry.
