I feel like this was just really well thought through. Like i read the sequel first and i couldnt imagine kanchan as a despicable violent boyfriend. In the end, he was very toxic and brutal, but i still love his character. I am glad he and yumi seperated though, and its really nice seeing him happy with someone that truly treasures him. I just think the characters were quite realistic and human and that's what i love about this (well also yumi is an adorable lil bub)

There are actually a few "sequels". What i meant was: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/renai_rubi_no_tadashii_furikata/
The first few chapters are basically unrelated but the second half is about kanchan in a new relationship. There's also a continuation of that, which i havent read because its not finished yet: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hadakeru_kaibutsu/
And then there's a one shot called azami which explains why he became violent and also shows a little bit of their relationship before the violence started.
Honestly i dont know if you even needed this much information haha im just too passionate about this series oops
I feel like the fact that yumi never showed kanchan how he was hurting made kanchan even more violent. Im not at all saying that yumi deserved the abuse or that it was his own fault, i just think that both of their issues combined led to that big escalation. Because kanchan is not a bad person and he knew that he was hurting yumi but yumi himself always came back to him and tried to keep the relationship alive (if you've read azami) and kanchan couldnt resist which led to him loathing himself even more, which again lead to yumi getting abused more. I really like the psychological backgrounds of this series. Its great of the author to give them all a happy ending, they truly deserved it
Yeah, yeah... Exactly. Everything that i wanted to say about this. I love the series sooo much.
