I have to say that it's important for parents to show up bc it will stay in kids mind that they didn't. I'm speaking of experience like my parents had work and couldn't come to my first and last music performances in the school bc I changed schools and I still remember it to this day. It hurt and made me sad bc all other parents were day and my parents could go to my sister's performances
