No she didn't know he cheated before. She showed up late again and he spun it around like that was the reason he was breaking up with her, constantly being an hour or more late to meeting with him and therefore choosing work over him. He made it seem like the break up was her fault and didn't announce his relationship with a new girl until 3 months later. Even then, she never knew who the new girl was even when he was getting married a year later.

so the cover is the FL and a dude in the mask which is the duke, the dude the Fl divorced with, basically the ML. so the first chapter is the future, basically a preview of the future yk? the second and third chapter is where it all begins, which is the past, where the story will unfold and lead up to the future from chapter 1. so basically the plot back story is that the ML and FL were married, FL’s family are shitty n used the ML’s dukes name and basically sullied it (or so it said bc the fl said she believed thats the reason in the second chapter, the translation was a bit confusing but you can kinda get the gist of it) and so the ML wants a divorce and wont give the FL money for food n necessities to survive until she agrees with the divorce. and so she signed the divorce agreement and she had a condition where she is allowed to sleep with a person before the divorce is completed because the ML is a dick and only has segs when her when he wants to n then leaves. the FL wanted to feel what love is like once before the divorce because she knows for sure her family sells her to another man (explained in chapter 3) i hope this helps! someone also basically explained it in the comments above under the name “bureau of investgaytion”. theirs will prolly make more sense than mine once you read the chapters and read the comments and then read it again loll i had to do that
