Till thr very end I kinda believed that he was actually really in love with his bestie and somehow looked at the younger brother as a substitute me and my paranoia I mean who wouldn't? He gave off that different kind of vibe when he's with his bestie. And when he cut his hair off and stated that our uke liked him with shorter hair/or can see his eyes, he literally cut it short.
