I usually enjoy this authors work but this one is just meh the ml is just rude and his not handsome enough the get away with it I feel like their relationship is completely unbalanced it’s clear that the ml has all the power in the relationship of course her other works had the women in more or less “traditional roles” their was still a balance for example in hapi Mari the Fl is very domestic before she even met the ml lead she liked cooking and cleaning and he never forced traditional roles onto her they both slowly started to fall in love it never seemed like one had more control in the relationship that other and sure the food also had some low self esteem but the grew as the series progressed I don’t see any growth in this one.
At this point somebody should call me when Paulina even THINKS about the king in a romantic way because the stretch (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Well, experience is highly subjective. In your experience, trash guys don't get happy endings/the girl. For me, it's the complete opposite. I grew up in a world similar to Takahisa's, and I know so many arseholes who never get what they deserve, and instead get praised for the shit they do. But that's life-- sometimes the bad guys win and the good guys lose. Sometimes it's the other way around. At the end of the day, this is the story the author chose to write. We can critique it however we want, but it won't change the conclusion if she decides to give Takahisa a happy ending (he doesn't fucking deserve it, but eh, what can we do).
