Both Hatano and SSR are kinda pushy in their own way (Hatano’s feels like destiny is pushing him to MC but we know MC doesnt like him so I hope MC gets to stay single or find a girl he actually likes. Hatano deserves someone who actually likes him to yk? If he doesn’t like SSR guy thats his choice but him and MC is bad pair rn)
Oh yes I get what you are saying, I don’t feel like SSR and Hatano match well but not that I feel Hatano and MC have to get together - I will probs root more for Hatano and someone else if that someone else is less pushy
This is low-key too underrated, the twists and not knowing who to trust was so interesting and the suspense was good. I think the plot is too complicated for most so they likely dropped it, I had fun reading it tho.
MC is truly well written schemer. He uses everyone he could to keep his end of the bargain so he could get a better life for his sister and he’s OP but not too unbelievably OP, he had help and I like that female characters each had their own albeit short moment to shine. Cast needed a bit more development imo, we don’t get to see them outside of action so it was a bit harder to connect them and I suppose it might make the plot feel a bit rushed.
(The fact that some villains were women and that they got treated the same way a man would was surprising but I don’t hate it, it’s step forward to having female characters who aren’t love interest so heck yeah)
I would give it 8/10
- Female characters weren’t overly sexualised
- There is no romance for MC or harem
- MC is strong but just as smart and he had his moments of weakness when he needed help, which I’m not against considering he forged those connections on his own too, they are part of his strenght!
Enjoyable read all in all, but I fear that the rushed plot and underused cast will cause me not to reread again cus suspense which kept the boat floating is gone… on the other hand if it got another season I would come back (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Hey look teens with that body shape actually exist (not as extreme) however what abt yknow freaking every other manhwa where theres female teens. Like this body shape is the norm for manhwa readers and ur kinda being a hypocrite since a teen is still a child and children no matter how they look is still a child and needs to be protected. Even if remi isnt she is still the mc’s child and most dads will still want protect their child even tho they grown up ong

So when i saw ur comment i thought wow so teens cant look good? Which is mb on that part since like ong ive been reading thru so much slop.
Also from what i saw from remi and her dad’s relationship is that shes a teen and teens can do dumb shit a lot of the times and for the parts where they focus on remi’s feelings and talk between her and her dad, it kinda feels like she and her dad communicates abt plans and she tries her best to keep her dad safe so when i saw how she was the person who usually dies first within the loop it is not because she was a girl it was because she is less experienced of the apocalypse stuff and life in general compared to her dad (case and point: she is a teen (cough* child) and that at default if she is a normal teen makes her a liability no matter her gender. Her dad gets to revive a bunch of times and hone out his skills thru multiple timelines but she only gets one chance thus becoming even more of a liability). What i believed the reason why she usually is the one dying is not because girls are weak it is because she is a teen who is still growing and less experienced. Like ofcus a adult man who had gone thru 99 timelines in an apocalypse will survive by himself compared to a teen who just woke up to the world ending out of nowhere.
To be honest i prefer her to be a teen personally cause if she was a kid, she would’ve probs died even faster and she wouldn’t have been able to take care of herself which means that her dad will have to be next to her 24/7 unless he is willing to trust a stranger to take care of her during an apocalypse.
Srry i went off on u lol. I legit thought her clothes were normal since like she was forced out of her house by her dad in the middle of the night and she probs is a girly girl who likes to be pretty so all she packed were the pretty stuff since thats her whole wardrobe. Totally forgot abt the first ch where they showed her in legit school uniform lmao. I think j got triggered when u talked abt how she would be better as a kid instead of a teen since like half of the story would have been different if she was a kid instead of teen.
Also i forgot to add on this part: one of the main reasons why i didn’t think her dying first is showing how girls r weak compared to men is during the first ch, Mc himself said they couldn’t take the apocalypse so they hanged themselves. (I took it as both of them did a double su*cide instead of just the girl being the only one to hang herself is because from what i remember, mc used we and showed that he died in that moment too either because the girl did it first and it broke him or they did it together). This made me feel like they were around the same level when they first started out and the difference only started to show itself when the dad was able to go back in time with all the experience he got and change the past to protect his loved one.
Oh that’s an interesting idea, when more chapters come I’ll reread and pay more attention to that part tho I dunno, he always killed himself after she died (aside 99th life) which goes to show how emotional he gets around her and loves her which I don’t hate, good that we have a guy not ashamed to show his love for his daughter.
(Tho would sticking through it on his own to get experience be more helpful to them ultimately like he did in 99th chance? Probably, but he can’t live without her and that’s just his character)
Also you raised some good points, it’s just that we saw some people survive purely by luck until now (and die by lack of luck) and yet in 99 lifetimes she didn’t have much of it though true enough she did die once right before they got to safety. Do hope that she gets more to her character then just being damsel in distress though! Even if she can’t fight, we saw shes kind and stuff but I’d like smth more
