okkk I read the spoilers for the novel ending and it sounds way better, makes much more sense. The ending is also bittersweet rather than happy which I think is more fitting bc their love isn’t perfect in fact it’s hella toxic such as when jiskar raped and branded Ray. That’s something you really can’t move past imo. Also jiskar is an ass father like bro cmon he’s still your son, he technically loves a random slave that he met recently more than his son of fifth teen years like what .
It’s just a shame smh smh like theres so many loose ends in the manhwa such as wtf happened to his son UGHH it’s just disappointing bc the plot is good and the beginning got me hooked only to be disappointed later on.
