It's a case of history repeating itself. Cuz I can't see any logical explanation as to why Saena would treat Kyoko so coldly if the fate of the father is that he died. I can only infer that she would be cold to the child she was 'stuck' with after being used by a man that pretended to love her to get ahead. In turn, Saena would refuse to attach herself to another person just for the sake of loving that person because she's had the experience of love being useless. But in her actions, she had caused Kyoko to be starved for affection. The only difference being that Kyoko learned her lesson earlier and without consequence of pregnancy, something that Saena had speculated and thus wanted to disown her for, but, Saena hasn't heard Kyoko's whole story yet. I'm sure there will be an understanding that Kyoko is much stronger than Saena thinks. Yet, there is a lesson to be learned for the both of them (Kuon, too.): Love is an important emotion to cherish despite any setbacks or tragedies that may befall you. I think that's a theme with many of the characters in this series. Oh and, I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!
