ohh okay,,, i might be wrong but as far as i can remember he's Eunki's sunbae from the university, the sunbae is the other sunbae's (from the guitar club that Eunki were in, and the girl she likes... before,) boyfriend. He holds a grudge against Eunki coz his gf had a "relationship" with Eunki before, he's also the one who spread rumors about Eunki dating his gf but in fact, it is his gf that wants to be with Eunki and didn't tell that she's in a relationship. But to not ruin his (the sunbae) reputation and his gf's reputation he made Eunki the bad guy in the story. Sorry if I didn't explain it thoroughly, I might also be wrong since the plot from the original "Fools" kinda changed.

So, Iruma-kun got Rank 5 right?! Out of everyone?! I knew it, he would be the next Demon King! And in my opinion, he's the reincarnation of the last demon king. He resembles him, and when he's in his rebel phase, some said his posture and attitude that time is like Demon King's. Can't wait for Iruma to become a real Demon King. The Demon King that went missing is still alive so he can't be a reincarnation, I'm pretty sure they just made him similar to the previous Demon King because that shows how he's suitable for the throne ^^
I think the actual demon king went missing because he got trapped in Iruma's ring. Yeah, that demon allowed Iruma to go through his evil cycle, and he was also asked before by Iruma why he knows so much and who he was before, but he chose to avoid the subject which may actually be him hiding that he's the demon king. I hope I'm right haha but I wanna know how the heck he got stuck in that ring in the first place.

he either somehow got stuck in the ring, or
the guy in the ring is someone so was close with the demon king, or
maybe the guy in the ring got stuck inside the ring when the demon king lost the ring

Maybe the guy in the ring is made from the missing Demon Kings power, like, it built up over-time as he wore it and created a new being, or maybe it was something like he was created when the ring was created, y'know like when some weapons are made in novels or manga by famous blacksmiths and they end up having a soul
