His grandma's cancer treatment. That's why he was in debt. Jaekyung started paying for it and Dan now owes him. As far as them being poor since he was young I prob needa reread before I say anything but the debt to Jae is cancer stuff.
Also most likely his parents. Since loan sharks typically run after any relative they can find after their original prey escaped.

I believe it's a combination of Grandma's debt as well as medical bills for her treatment. Their little family has always been shown to struggle financially, and Jaekyung essentially paid back all of his debt when he beat the loan sharks up a while ago. He has also paid several months worth of her cancer treatment too. Now Kim Dan is slowly but steadily sending him money to pay him back.

Yes! Jaekyung now has motivation to get healthy again and better himself for a future match AND to woo Dan!! Now that Jaekyung is around, Dan won't be able to get away with harming himself, as Jaekyung notices everything (including his arm). So yeah, both improve, as you said :)

Yeah (≧∀≦). Jjk really wanted to be healthy again and hone his skills,but he's also confused about "that" feeling/s he have for Dan. He wanted to name it because it's bothering him. He wants to go separate ways after gaining his health back but we know that won't happen,lol. He's even sweet to get a house next to him,lol. Seeing Jjk now, begging is not an option for him unless he will realize 'that' feeling earlier than expected. People/readers will only hate him more if he beg just for the pre match sex. It's better if Jjk will go to a match without that pre match sex to prove to Dan his sincerity,even if he's going to lose. Maybe the jinx will gone because of that and he will manage to win even without that pre match sex ( plot twist ). Just a thought .
