Reread this because it's been so long but just realised the two MCs both share similar terrible experiences. (A) Bad experience with an adult, the tutor and the bar owner from the beginning, and (B) a highschooler going after them. It feels like bad energy just follows the happy couple.
Interested where the storyline with the ex-tutor goes though, I wonder if they'll address the terrible thing she did though because the one with Natsuki was clearly brushed over.

I finally caught up, but all I can say is Yohan is so unintentionally cruel. He knows in the back of his mind he's gonna betray Victor at some point but he keeps being so sweet, and so kind, and so loving. And I know he can't help it. He loves Victor a lot.
But he's making it really hard for the inevitable downfall to bear for everybody. I'm even at a point where I'm thinking he's not even gonna go through with it because he's just that affectionate.
This man is making me realise why the 9th circle of hell is betrayal.
Also the twink fairy got to Victor, NOOOOOOOOOO-

NGL I don't like either of them like that. However, Yohan is highkey annoying for not telling him the truth, BUT he's also horrible if he does. Leong was right. Does Yohan love his brother or NOT????? He better figure it out quick. Like Leong lost his father sooooo I love Van for Ian BUT I don't like the way Van trats Leong IDC. Victor is chill since I found out he didn't kill Leongs father.

I truly didn't have much expectations from Subin in the beginning, since I thought he'd be the type of guy who'd go for the easy way out. The way he was bumbling about in the earlier chapters really didn't reassure me. His relationship with Jun was not going well as well so Subin was reintroduced to me as an emotional mess.
But he proved me wrong. He faced everything and showed that he has grown. He has truly moved on and he even wished Hyunwoo the best? That takes so much strength to not harbour any hatred for someone who made you feel the absolute worst for a really long time, even with those highs considered.
It's really wonderful to see this because I'm used to tropes whenever an old love comes back, all goes down to shit. Extremely grateful and extremely happy of this outcome. Truly am.
So excited for the next chapters!

The art style is amazing, but I do think the mangaka needs work on storyboarding and story progression.
There are times when the effects don't work with the tone (ex. When the host got mad at the girl. It's supposed to be a tense scene but the crying background behind the girl negates the tenseness)
Plot points fall flat sometimes due to the panelling. (ex. When it was hinted the host knew the guy prior to their meeting. The first hint was a thought bubble and a chibi. But the way it was panelled made it feel like a passing thought than a revelation because of how tiny the panels are. The second was a random conversation. Again, the cat scene was a tiny panel, and the only reason you can connect the host was there looking was because of a tuff of hair! We don't even see the perspective of the host, which I personally think would've made more emotional impact)
And lastly, I do think they crammed so much in so little chapters. Plot points like, (1) The host definitely knows him, (2) The host's rival is a bit scummy and might be up to no good, (3) The host is a sugar daddy?! Gasp?! was crammed in a single chapter.
Again, art is wonderful. Extremely wonderful, just needs a little bit more work. Still reading though.

Is it just me who doesn't want them to be together and is hoping the story would focus on the father's road to understanding his son better?
I understand both can happen at the same time but I don't want it to be like, "I understand you because guess what? I'm gay too."
Still reading though, want to see how it goes. I already feel blessed to get to read another Nakamura Asumiko work in this lifetime.
What a beautiful ending, I have nothing else to say. Just bravo, bravo!
I'd love to see them make this a movie, I'm sure it would be really beautiful. I could envision it already, but one could only wish. Amazing nonetheless.
