The art is so wonderful, but the story, oh god. Theo was hardly at fault for what happened in paradise, he was a goddamn kid.
Though I have a strange suspicion he's not related to the father though. Cedric definitely, with how messed up he is. But Theo, I'm not so sure.
Excited to see what happens next.
I enjoyed the story, I loved the portrayal of helplessness as a teen in these situations. You really can't do anything, less you have nothing lose. So you either watch or distract yourself from the situation, while the guilt eats you away.
Though I would've loved to see a chapter or an extra dedicated to the blonde/brunette guy's aftermath after running away or his life prior to the reunion. Even a mundane scene of him thinking of the black-haired guy would've sufficed. Just his POV in general.
It would've made the reunion more impactful, I think but that's just me. Their dialogue by the sea about sharing the burden made up for it though. It was really nice. Anyways, good story!
The only redemption arcs I would ever accept from this monster is either (a) he's grovelling on the ground, pissing his pants, begging for forgiveness, with a fucked up arm and broken career or (b) he fucking dies.
If I get a pathetic ass redemption arc that only works because Dan is too kind, I wouldn't know what to do. Heck, I think the best ending is if they don't get together at all but I know that's not how this author works.
It's such a wonderfully written story, but the part I loved the most was the wife pointing out that he was a scumbag for doing that to all his exes because that's rarely addressed in BLs.
And even better that he felt bad about it, what a great guy. Slow, but great nonetheless.
Loved both the couples, they're so goofy.
I've never been more stressed in my life before reading this chapter. I swear if the main character cheats with the ex-bestfriend, I'm gonna scalp him and skewer his ass.
He's so messy, dear god! Bestie said, there's not enough problems in my life, lemme make one after the other.
I honestly think it's less of him not getting over his ex and more of he doesn't want his ex seeing his current relationship not working well. Kinda like when you come to a highschool reunion and showing people you're doing well type of thing.
But that doesn't mean I trust this mess of a man either. Who knows what he'll do for appearance sake or for a little thrill or even to get back at his current boyfriend because he feels unappreciated. Anyways, I don't trust him. He's interesting, but I'm wary of him.
I was aware he'd get rejected and I was hoping he would be rejected as well, but damn that lil' monologue at the end got me punching the wall. He deserved that ending but dear lord, it hurts nonetheless.
However, I do like how the author still kept his red-flagness despite it all indicated by the delulu part of his speech (Siwoo liking him back but rejecting it, and promising to keep on pursuing him.)
Anyways, good read!
True, I can't see a world where Siwoo actually develops feelings for him considering (a) his terrible background with the MCs of the main story, (b) how he kept blackmailing Siwoo despite realising he has feelings for him, and (c) injuring Siwoo.
I can only see it if red-head actually works for it, which he never did. I don't think the surprise butt-sex counts.

I'm only at chapter 24 so my opinion might change soon but does anyone feel like they don't have chemistry? Even the scenes when they're alone feel, lackluster.
Like the setup is clear, both in a requited love but communication is not in their vocabulary. It's apparent but it feels like it's missing something.
The MC and his bestfriend had more chemistry than these two if I'm being honest.
