i believe it means that "being alone doesnt mean you have to become lonely."
It means that loneliness doesn't change the person you ARE. And just because you're single doesn't mean you have to be a sad and lonely person.
actually, it means loneliness doesn't suit you. it's similar to 'loneliness does not fit you/does not look well on you'. 'become' comes from the adjective "unbecoming" or unflattering. so basically it's like "you don't look good being lonely". which can also mean you should be more happy or content cause I don't want you to look sad or lonely
