It’s like straight guys who fetishize lesbians because they think it’s “hot” and that’s all they care about, the sex. They don’t actually treat or care about lesbians as normal people with normal lives that don’t revolve around sex, and many don’t actually fight for or advocate equal rights for them. They’re just there for the fantasy. Most bl stories are by female writers and a lot of readers are young girls only looking for gay porn, as you can see by tons of comments all on this site looking for smut or by fangirls posting sexual comments “who do you think is top/bottom??” on social media of actual real gay people. That’s why they get a bad reputation.

Mostly my theory that Dohyeok (older brother) was abusive to Suha in the past and was Suha's ex-boyfriend. That was pretty much confirmed. Other stuff that I'm theorizing (but not confirmed) is that Director Park and the brother have a terrible relationship, with Director Park being jealous of him. My other theory is that Dohyeok told Suha he wasn't good for anything but his body, which is why Suha straight out can't date anyone, or has no interest in anything but sex 10+ years later. Not sure what event was the breaking point that made Suha cut contact with Dohyeok, but it might have to do with that.
