Remember that no one was sure about who is Kaede’s one sided love? The clues we have are: 1. It’s a “he”, 2. He’s an alpha and 3. He works in the same department with Shuu (from chapter 2).
It’s NOT Kikyou because Kikyou is a beta.
It’s Tsubaki (Shuu’s energetic senior with long hair). Yep. Tsubaki is a man.

So you see, in the book, after each chapter there’s one page of extra content. Tsubaki’s info is revealed after chapter 5. “Male, alpha, extremely energetic and well-liked by his surbodinates. Somehow completely unaware of Kaede’s feeling.” In chapter 5, Kaede called him “Tsubaki-kun” and Shuu thought that it’s funny how he used “kun” suffix (more commonly used for male). Tsubaki is a man and he’s Kaede’s secret crush.
I’m not sure why the author decided to introduce Kikyou and not make Kaede and Tsubaki a thing. Anyway, at the end of book 2 Kikyou is only a junior that Kaede often sees around and he has a huge crush on Kaede. I don’t think there’s any plan to continue their story in the near future.

It actually is pretty amazing. And a ton of Korean webtoons have made to the big screen so fingers crossed.

This is the first time I wish a BL is not BL. Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with the direction author is taking this to. I just think that it would also be nice if they develop a brotherly kind of love. Supporting each other, loving each other, be there for each other like real brothers. Nice, isn’t it?

...just give your key away that easily?????? What lol. That was a weird move. I know it may be plot driving but still feels kinda out of place. They had barely known each other for a few months.
But it’s love.........but of course in real life that move gets you at best robbed and at worse murdered.
I think they met when the guy was still a college student, now he has a job so I guess some time passed. Though it’s weird that the other guy didn’t know where he lived, maybe that’s because the blue-hired guy likes pinky hair
not even a year has passed since they met properly at the student gathering. Even though they shared some time together, they are still “just friends” not even close friends that can be given a key and access to the house “anytime they want”. Just feels kinda off IMO.

Though, he has always been... a bit funny? Like how he’s so naive and innocent that his course of actions are always unexpected. So I can imagine in my head Yu Yang must have casually told him that Huan Wen works late every day, then he, still sorta idolising and respecting Huan Wen, simply went over to show his gratitude.
ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ I swear after Li Huan and Yu Yang I don’t need one more couple to keep idling around each other so weird as it be, if this brings them closer to each other or at least, lets Huan Wen settle his feelings then it’s good for the plot.
