Just recently I read a case of a girl being drugged and gang raped in Korea. One of the rapists even took her home and forced her again in her own house. She talked about the invasive tests to collect samples from her body, how she had to go through 9-10 hours of interrogation, how the police made her describe every single detail like who did what to her, how long did they put it in, how many thrusts etc. I understand the nature of interrogation to avoid false accusation, but my heart aches for her and any victim that has to relive the terrors more than once.... and for what? A TWO YEAR SENTENCE?

Instead of the usual smut and stuff I’m honestly surprised by the refreshing mention of the typical Asian family issues here... his parents annoy the heck out of me and they are themselves the epitome of old school Asian parenting who never accept that they made mistake in raising their children, mistakes grave enough that left the children with scars and PTSD. I feel a lot for his sister, she basically lost her childhood being a third parent for her brother. Their relationship could have been so much better if she did have to toughen up to be an adult-child and shoulder responsibilities that weren’t hers.
An incredible read. I personally relate to Kanou and his life philosophy a little bit too much it’s eerie. Haven’t prayed so hard like I did at the end of chapter 4 for so long. 10* out of 5 please read this manga!!!!
