When Geum Sun said San was mistakenly taken to the Underworld it didn’t make sense because - his name was not on the death records (if he died it would be because of Hwan, and Hwan was messing with the records by killing people who were not supposed to die), plus Geum Sun said it himself that the boundary between the Mortal world and the Underworld should not let a human body pass. But if San was *purposefully* sent to the Underworld, by no one but Geum Sun himself, then it’s totally understandable!
Btw can’t wait until they finally mention the relationship between 704 and Geum Sun in a few more chapters (▰˘◡˘▰)
I rated this 1*, just because I can’t and don’t want to reinforce this stereotype and mindset - especially that part about how the victim thinks they can’t come out because the blame and shame gone fall on them.
But god damn, I do enjoy manga as a form of art and this is a magnificent work of cinematography. Harada is an expert in what she does, and as I choked along the boring and cliched plot, I couldn’t help but marvelling at the excellent sequence of dialogues and frames that wrap up just how fucked Harada’s world is.
I have read my fair share of twisted stories, and I don’t recommend this solely for its one dimension and lack of depth/humanity.
