FL: i’m never gonna fall in love with them again.
FL 10 chapters later: maybe.... he is kind

Spoilers about Prince and female lead + 1st timeline
Read at your risk / you don’t have to read if you don’t want to . I just want to let people know this is a bit of a less cliche story
A confession doesn’t happen until chapters around 230. Meaning that they don’t get together until the very end of the story. Unlike others where they get together in the middle of the story. So this story is more of a revenge based first then love story.
Plus, the king/prince actually did love her but had to act that he didn’t so she wouldn’t be targeted. He knew she was a fake, but still loved her. When he found out about her death he killed the real one. He really mourned her death and did love baby Ian. He cried while hugging her dead body and kept saying "I'm sorry"

bruh so badass. but i can’t help but seriously dislike eusto.... like she was someone who was once virtuous right? and then she slowly went crazy after the war right??? wouldn’t he think something was amiss. instead he’s like oh i’ll just wait till she gets better or something like NO obviously fez was manipulating her from behind the scenes with drugs and alcohol... like did he not notice that or what??? gtfo

i see where ur coming from but his only option didn’t have to be to kill the duke. even then if he had such undying loyalty and noticed that duke fez was behind the scenes manipulating her and further creating her into a tyrant i would think he would care less about the consequences in order to save the empress from further descent into madness ??? also sorry but i don’t remember seeing anything about him noticing that. it’s very weird how he just decided to continue to trust that the empress would naturally come to her senses by herself??? yeah she may be strong and all powerful but after experiencing years of war then coming back to have some duke manipulate and use drugs and alcohol on you would change someone..... so even if he noticed he chose to remain a bystander and for what?? consequences? the worst consequence would be death for him but it seemed like he was loyal to the point he would die for her. i guess not huh

personally the best revenge for the witches would have been to see humanity slowly kill themselves off using up sell their resources for their precious science and technology and them realizing and regretting that they are worthless without the witches interference.
also i understand adonis is upset with every reason to be but he’s kinda dumb in my opinion. i don’t even think he’s that strong. literally as we’ve seen without his quilt he becomes useless and not only that how was he planning on going against them if they used the anti magic machine lolz
i’m happy but also sad cause somehow i smell a not so smooth sailing for them.
