I think he's being honest here, at the end of the day they were two years together and she knows him enough to know what buttons shut to make him surrender. I also think he said it out of habit. Even so, I'm with Minato on this and he was right to get mad about it, she's his ex girlfriend and it's weird in itself that they're still close, so that was really extra of him and shouldn't be saying something like that in front of his new partner.

I get what you mean, but he is not cheating on her. They are not together. They are supposed to be engaged, but she does not want a relationship with him and made that clear.

ok thanks for the clarification - yes i understand, and i've also spoken (in the earlier comment section) about how their not together previously and that we shouldnt see it that way (if i remember correctly). However, knowing this doesn't help me alleviate that mood crash when i see the scenes of him having sex with another lady. I understand the logic behind this perfectly, but that doesnt mean my emotional side has caught up with it.

i'm not even upset at the author or anything cause i feel like it is very in character and it is a timely reminder of (i forgot his name ML)'s personality. I would just like to avoid it bc it makes me sad. that is all. like i'm just more sensitive to this sort of thing?

it would be great if you knew which chaps i could fast forward to bc i enjoy this story IMMENSELY like the suspense and the bad-assery of the female lead is unprecedented in other stories and this is a real gem to me. thanks in advance

Well...it's entirely possible that this person buys the books and comes here for the community/to promote. Or this is someone who hasn't started being financially independent and/or can't afford it yet. Still, I think even making a small effort to promote where possible is nice, no? After all, some people may not realize they could legally obtain an English copy of this story.

I didn't know it was on Renta until this comment--hopefully they have more chapters there, and so I can go buy some of them. So yeah I'm thankful for this user who posted this comment for those of us that who want to actually support the artist and pay for it. Also even if I buy the chapters, I come here for the comments section, which I know a know a lot of other mangago users do. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Uh no i actually bought. I have been buying. I'm just a student with a monthly allowance, but every single time i see published and licensed mangas I will try my best to purchase it. Even though one volume might be about 11-12 usd or higher depending on how renta separates the chapters - where by each chapter can cost 2-3usd for a 6-7 chap manga. I don't even live in the US so the conversion rate is higher. On monthly i can only afford a limit of 50usd on buying mangas.

Also, reading free mangas translated, cleaned and uploaded by the kindness of other people is not a right. It is a PRIVILEGE. And privileges can be taken away by others through legal action, even though this sharing of their works can be also be considered a legal grey area. The best we can do as fans is to support the author through legal means, so that they can continue producing work they love - and we love.

I suggest you check ignorance and toxicity before typing.

However, alot of others here do not have the monetary means (such as other students like me) or geological boundaries that limit them from supporting the author if they hope to do so - which is why i said "please support if you are able to".

My post is for people who want to but don't know how.

I don't hate on people who read mangas illegally, because alot of them are just trying to enjoy something they love. Don't spread your toxicity here on this site, do it elsewhere in your own life.

Hey thank you for pointing out the source and where we can go support the artist & translators :D !! I have trouble finding out how (especially for translated ones — a good motivation to learn Japanese haha)

Would you have more sites to recommend aside from Renta? Their translation have been feeling too Americanized for me. How people called each other with Mr. and Ms. feels weird when they have all these Japanese names and me expecting them to use the Japanese -san -sama etc

(Not to mention that Renta convert money to USD — I prefer the original JPY )
