I think the fact that Rapiel's kid was someone else's doesn't lessen Aeroc's crime. Yes, it would have lessened Kloff's anger, but morally, Aeroc's actions were awful in the first timeline regardless of who fathered the child. He paid people to harm a pregnant mother. Even if he didn't intend for Rapiel to die, the dude was with child and everyone knows how delicate that situation is. Unintentional murder is still murder. It also makes it worse that Rapiel technically never wronged Aeroc. He may have wronged Kloff but he's never harmed Aeroc in anyway. While this doesn't mean Aeroc deserved everything that happened, the story does make it pretty clear that he brought those consequences upon himself
Yeah what he did was wrong I'm not saying just cuz it was someone else child its okay to do what aeroc did, but the price he paid for his crime was far too great, what he had to go through was wayyyy worse than his crime, the punishment was too big
