I told y’all! You all hated Jeanette for no fucking reason!! I always thoughts she was adorable but pitiful and sure she caused some trouble but that’s only because she wanted to be loved! Now she’s grown as a character and become more considerate and aware. The only reason she wasn’t before is because she was a friggin child! It’s not like she was malicious or did anything bad on purpose! Now you can’t hate her anymore :3 Ahh I just want everyone to end up happy.

why do you guys hate Jeanette so much??? she just wants to be a part of a loving family?????

I think it's a similar situation to April from "Gilmore Girls" or Dawn from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (lol. late '90s and early 2000s American tv show references). The character's aren't great to begin with. But even worse, they're used as tools for bad plots/writing/storylines. This amnesia arc has been going on for too long and everyone hates it. It's just angst after angst after angst with no end in sight. And unfortunately, Jeannette is at the very center of that. So, she's an easy target for people to focus their frustration.

For me, I really dislike Jeannette bcs, well, she was brought up as a hidden princess, yes? But all she seems to think is that her rise to that family will be smooth, that Claude and Athy will just be like: "Aw, yo our fam? then do come in and be fam bruh", when really, that's not going to happen at all. Before being just a regular family, Claude and Athy are the ROYAL family. Jeannette"s existence shakens the Royal Line of Succession, just like Dark Claude said. I just don't like how Jeannette seems to overlook? forgot? dismiss? that part, even though she should've grown up with a mindset for politics (bcs ffs she thinks herself a hidden PRINCESS). Does she really think that Athy was hosting those tea parties out of goodwill? Bitchass NO. Those parties were to foster good relationship with ladies similar to her age, so that in the future they'd be loyal to her. Normally, men should've been there as well (being that men are the likely heirs) but Claude is an overprotective AF Royal dad with a bloody history and as such can get away with being snobbish. On that note, another commenter noted that Athy is the only princess, and being like that means that Claude does not want another child. IF Jeannette just thinks, she'd realize that Claude has not been so bloodthirsty for years bcs he's building a foundation of loyalty for Athy. It makes sense, and no doubt other houses know of that, so why can't Jeannette simply THINK about her real situation. She's supposed to be bright, yes? Enough so that Mr. White initially thought that she can compare to Athy. So why does she seem so stupid????? Yearning for familial love is one thing, its another to be ignorant of politics despite growing up in a political household.

I’m on chapter 5 rn and I’m honestly wondering why tf is our Mc so clumsy and useless?? it’s high key getting annoying?? can someone who’s read ahead tell me if she does develop her character and become reliable? because the whole “she tries her best but puts herself in danger and he comes and saves her” shtick is getting old really fast, I’m sorry... like I do enjoy reading fluffy cute mangas like this but I do also prefer somewhat smart and capable mc’s... sorry...

In one of the later ch when she’s serving the ml and his friend in the restaurant that she works, she needed to put a Star on top of the Christmas tree. Both ml and his friend offered to help but she’s like no I can’t have guests work so she does it and proceeds to fall off ladder while the two guys goes to save her •_• (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I like that she’s hardworking but it gets annoying cause it’s like she’s getting herself into these positions. Usually I wouldn’t have mind but it’s like constantly occurring
Guess it’s to fill the naive and hardworking but clumsy trope

poor dude. she thinks he’s a pedophile when he’s not cuz kaelids basically a crackhead lmao. admittedly, this webcomic is weird af and doesn’t make any sense but I’m still gonna keep reading because I like it regardless. No hate, just my opinion, but she pretty much fell in love with him because he kept literally sweeping her off her feet and is suuuuper handsome.. kinda dumb ngl. No clue as to why, but he loves her cause she helps with his illness for whatever reason (and don’t say it’s cuz he loves her cause he experienced the effects before getting to know her very well so that wouldn’t make sense!). Hopefully as the story goes on things will make more sense and be better explained but maybe not. I already know I’m gonna get a ton of dislikes cause y’all can’t handle criticism against your favorite lovey-dovey couples, no matter how messed up they are smh.

why must you turn her into a vampire without her knowing?? I know she’d a 100% be up for it if you just asked her first!! She’ll be furious when she finds out...!! Ugh! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I know right? She seems like the type that can be persuaded if he tells her properly that he wants to be with her forever. He's digging his own grave by making her a vampire without her consent. It'll be just a lifetime of misery for both of them once she becomes immortal. I don't she'll forgive him after she learns of his betrayal. She's quite decisive in that regard.
I wonder if the long black hair is the mc wearing a wig so she won’t get recognized as his maid... hmmm.. or genderbent Ian..? wouldn’t mind that either
