i would like to ask, who's the artist for this story? is it shu? is moscareto the author or he did the art too? i mean i fall in love with the drawing and i would like to read all manhwas with the same art, but i couldn't find it when i clicked shu up there
Moscareto is the author, very prominent in the BL community and has a lot of good novels with excellent adaptations (I highly recommend You Get Me Going/You and I Can't Do This, and The New Recruit/The New Employee; like this one, very healthy and loving tops). This is unfortunately Shu's (artist's) first webtoon and currently only one I think.
Shu also goes by Sue on English sites. Moscareto has great artists for all her work, though.

this is only me, and i believe there’re other opinions, i respect that, i just want to share mine, simply because i frustrated enough. (pardon my english, it's not my first language)
no. 1. the biggest victim is the alpha, he suffered a lot, like.. A LOT in almost all his entire life, starting with his life is in danger because of his stepmother doing.
2. he thought his mate was dead, everyone never told him anything, his father and the omega’s father both as guilt as fuck.
3. he makes himself to rely to meaningless and painful sex life (i believe 50% because of his rut, and another because he’s simply human alpha being who "lost" his goddamn mate, moving on will never happen), he was judged as sex maniac, even if he’s only did it with BETA. he refused any omegas who came to him, and "everyone" had the rights to call him heartless and sex maniac even the omega. the alpha claimed he has “partner”, but no one ever truly find out if he has one... “alive”. It’s always easier to say he’s a jerk who likes to sleep around and publicly cheating. (the omega tried once by asking the alpha himself, rejected, give up.. braa, what's the used all power and money you have?!)
4. he once again left by his mate, who most claimed that was hurt by the alpha’s characteristic and way of life, the omega was tortured for that whole 1 year. which is absurd for me actually. the omega said he’s strong, he could defense himself and he is, so why don’t you fight him when the alpha forced to have sex with him? You’ve fought against more than 5 people, and what? out of nowhere become a helpless omega? i don’t recall the alpha using his pheromone, heck he thought the omega was beta!! broken heart because all of the money talk from the alpha. great job ignoring the alpha’s background life, being surrounded up by leeches around his circle. heck even his stepmother and step brother want him dead, because of what? power and money, they simply want to get rid of him.. this is the case where someone said they’re sma~rt, have power, yadda yadda, yet decided to act stupid as f*ck.
5. the alpha ready to give up his mate for his mate’s so called happy end with another alpha, he readied himself whatever the omega gave him, he’d kill himself if ever his omega want him to and the omega "confused" helplessly asking why the hell his heart hurt while he payback time the alpha. stupid. (the alpha also apologize to the omega for being a jerk for that whole 1 year)
6. the young alpha suffered mental issue because of the thought he lost his mate. his father chained and drugged him just because it’s the "easiest" way to calm the young alpha. daddy knows best. well both daddy and son has weak hearts. this is where i guess, of all omegaverse I’ve read, this one is belong to where alpha suffered the most if ever the mating broken, in this case because of death. I don’t even know if they could actually sense their bond. Like whaaat?
7. the most absurd is, they seems like they could do background of all things and yet, all they got is either wrong infformation or only got half information right. i feel like, THE FUCK YOU GUYS FELT PROUD OF YOUR GODDAMN JOB AND ACTED HIGH.
everything in this story feels like mentally fucked up and half-assed feelings, despite their so called "i do this to protect my beloved one".
yes the omega suffered as well, his being was damaged because his own decision to stay with the alpha when he was kidnapped despite of alpha asked him to just leave him, for the omega’s protection, but nooo, he wanted to help him he said, and bam the kidnappers made an attempt to kill him, fortunately he’s saved in last minute. tbh I’m still confuse, but it appears he can’t produce omega’s pheromone, so like he’s broken dominant omega. like okay, i was broken but heck yeah i still have the power because omega in this universe at least has the upper hand in the mating relationship. the omega is impressive though, he has a strong heart and personality, he’s not dwelled in his own trauma (almost died), accept his condition, learnt how to fight, searched for his alpha. He’s tired of his own decision and then become little bit of stupid and drop, just blame it to the alpha. he hurt me, i hurt him back.
and he’s not totally pitiful like the alpha where he’s almost like 99% ALONE (except for the younger step bro, but come on, the alpha still need to be on guard himself if ever that one and only ally is gonna betray him one day or not). while the omega has his sister and father who care for him. love him. heck even his people are 98% loyal to him. One of them even fall in love with him (I hate him period). except, everyone keeps confusing who they work for. it's getting my nerve. like they're powerful, but not and what's with that?!
There’s so much I want to say but I’m tired and just sad. I even wish, after the alpha’s father drop everything from the alpha’s side to omega, what if the alpha just ended up coma so the omega can deal with the rest for all I care, on his own. Like the alpha found a way to sever their bond, but in this universe, only alpha who’ll suffered the most (can no longer bonding, slowly dying) while the omega could still form new bond with new partner. If this happen, congratulation alpha, you’ve become that one pitiful character literally suffered and died ALONE till the end. No happy end for you no matter what!

some readers might think hongyeon's jealousy is excessive, is it really that bad? i would love to have that one person like hongyeon tbh. all i could see is he's in love and want taejun exclusive for him only. i'm in position where i do wish if my partner would love me in hongyeon's level. i would like to be spoiled by them everywhere and everytime. to be loved in that amount of possessiveness is definitely great to me.. there's much more worse than him.. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

so... let me preface by saying that I'm a major in social work, which means I have observed and worked and analyzed similar situations A LOT.
this kind of behavior is definitely toxic and borderline abusive, because it actively effects in a negative way Taejun's life. Hongyeon tries to isolate him from the outside world and whatever external inputs he may receive, even in the form of a meeting with his COUSIN. Isolating your partner is a form of abuse.
Be careful not to mix "control" with "love". He loves him, yeah, you could say that, but do you really love someone if you don't allow him to be free and to live his own life without you interfering?
this is a webtoon, so "it's fine". they're not real people. but similar situations in real life can lead to terrible consequences: just picture all those horrible monsters who murder their exes or their girlfriends out of "jealousy". this type of mentality is VERY dangerous, and normalizing or romanticizing it is dangerous as well. there's nothing romantic in wanting to control my partner's life, my partner's free time, my partner's interactions with other people.
you shouldn't feel wrong to desire that kind of thing, the same way some people do CNC and it's fine. But please, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, be careful with who you surround yourself with. some people don't want to spoil and love you, some people want to control you and cut you off from the important people in your life. be mindful of that, and again, try not to be so blind to mix up this kind of excessive "jealousy" and "possessiveness" as an act of love, because it is, in fact, not.

i would like to share some reason why i find hongyeon's acts (still) understandable.
1. they've just started dating. and their long journey to finally find the one that match their most rare auras, hongyeon being the more active in pursuing while taejun dangerously almost give up with the thought he had no match, the irony of being the cupid.
2. with the cousin case, he has experienced (and also triggered by the cousin), the thought there's something going on between taejun and the cousin, he even was told match (and taejun's "support" them)with someone else even within the time he pursued taejun, if he truly toxic, even everyone else in their work place would have the same treatment as the cousin and his (now) partner. he's just being annoyed with the two since the beginning and now he couldn't spend exclusive times with taejun (and taejun being worried for the two didn't ease him at all), LoL.
the cousin's partner needs some whack on the head for his ridiculous acts and thoughts though. the history between hongyeon and him make it worse. i even find him a nuisance. borderline between innocent and stupid. (￣へ￣）while the cousin only need to man up and confess. so hongyeon's more aggressive with the two is understandable for me.
3. another when hongyeon stop himself even after taejun said he could penetrate him while taejun's still recovering his back, he could still do it but chose not to. so yep, he's not in the same categorize with those can't be help horrible people.
