Season 1 is over! From the raws that I've read, I am assuming there will be a:
1. Love triangle?
2. A more developed relationship between Seungho and Nakyum.
3. A detailed narrative about Seungho's family and past. (Which I am really looking forward to)
4. An enemy plot against the relationship of ghe two MC.
Actually the end for this season seems like a calm before a storm so buckle up! Moreover, I love how the author ended the scene with Nakyum moving on with his feelings for Inhun, referring to the painting he said the slave could just throw away. Then, he looked back to SH and walked towards him. Eyes locked. Delish. Haha!
I agree with 2 and 3 for sure but at least for me I can't really get any idea of a love triangle happening.
It sounds to me the story follows such a classic 'intense' hate to passion arc between Seungho x Nakyum that veering into love triangle at this point would sound so off...
even more when the author seems to be building a relationship ... Seungho has stopped sleeping around, Nakyum is letting go of Inhun and season 2 will for sure have tons of smut between these two and Nakyum enjoying it.
Another reason why I doubt there will be any love triangle is because Seungho and Nakyum are such the stars of this story as the seme and the uke that they don't exactly leave space for a secondary later character to come in in the same footing.
If I could guess, I think all and any outside character now will have a function to strengthen their relationship, not weaken. Seungho right now is becoming NK lover and provider.... the assassin plot will test his role as protector. Seungho's little brother may be an ally or become a pawn for Inhun.... and if Inhun is the love triangle, I think Nakyum may still care for him out of goodness of his heart but romantically I think it dried out for good.
The most sure bet I have for season 2 is that we will be fed passionate, hot smut between Seungho x Nakyum. Can't wait to see Nakyum to mess up Seungho's hair like the little boss he will become. :)

Am I the only person who is starting to believe that NK may not be who is portrayed as. As this oblivious, super submissive MC. I read chap 43 and I was confused when NK (uke dude) shifted from being sad to having an air of mischief when the ex caught SH and NK doing the do. It’s as if he has motives also though I’m left conflicted on what. Hopefully we get more insight on not only SH but also NK. Maybe that’s not the perfect word to describe it but the vibe was off when he went from tears to no tears and a smirk? (from the ex lover’s perspective.) Could be a glimpse of the real NK? Is there something also twisted about him because from what was briefly said about his past...idk A part of me hopes that NK will out the biggest plot twist about that type of person he is... or not yeah maybe I’m just reading into too much.
I know exactly what part you’re taking about with Na Kyum in the future chapter! I think that part was the imagination of the other lord who Seungho was fooling around with before his attachment to Na Kyum grew and became more “exclusive”. I think the other lord feels very threatened by Na Kyum because he doesn’t see what Seungho sees in Na Kyum to the point of being thrown away. I think Na Kyum is just a sweet bby that wants to be loved and cherished, though I wouldn’t mind him being a little sloot LOL

It was Jihwa's absurd perspective. It's his own vision of Nakyum taking Seungho away from him. It's not what Nakyum literally did. Jihwa is fucking crazy and desperate at the moment as Seungho's been all around for Nakyum, so he felt that Nakyum is doing it on purpose but in reality, it's not what it's like.
You made sense. I based the "love triangle" assumption from a theory that Nakyum and the assassin we're childhood friends, it may not literally form a triangle but it may pose some subtle threats for SH. But we'll never know for sure haha!
And yes, can't wait for more passionate smuts haha! Hopefully, dropping the "L" word? Or too soon? Hahaha!

I like the semi-slow burn on this one. Especially the MC's dynamic of weird glasses guy and delinquent cool dude. It's not new but after all the yaois that were made recently, it's a breathe of fresh air.
