i pick up the manga to read expecting some typical red flag toxic behaviour from how the cover look and the way the top look but then get the most wholesome shit with a green flag top (im not complaining tho)
i like how the trinkets from his mom isn't exactly life changing for him, it might have provide some closure to his heart but im glad he doesn't just change his attitude immediately and it just turned out that he had always been caring for the children just in his own ways which his own mother is blind to. despite his childhood, he took his responsibility to care for the children seriously, it had only seem 'negative' just bcuz he doesn't exactly act like his mom
