I know that everyone is mad at Yuma for just leaving things like that but you have to understand that there wasn’t communication between them. Mimori didn’t say anything because his thinking was “it doesn’t change the fact I betrayed him” and because he had a hard time getting the words out. Yuma doesn’t understand what happened therefore his thought is “he cheated on me.” There’s no communication and yes, silence doesn’t mean consent, but Mimori’s difficulty of explaining gives Yuma the wrong idea.
