that..... was the most innocent "sex scene" I've ever seen. I mean, I knew it wasn't going to be some kind of hardcore porno... but GEEZ! We waited FOREVER for this particular scene and we didn't even get to see anything remotely intimate (stripping, intense kissing, etc.) If I was only looking at the pictures without any words I would think they just made out or something, and even THAT is a stretch of the imagination.
Then again, maybe they DIDN'T do it after all? Why would the author build this moment up for several chapters only to make the scene one big flop?

As a Yaoi fan, I was always baffled why THIS manga constantly showed up in my suggestions. So after months of ignoring it I decided to read this as my first Yuri manga. And after reading this story I've come to the conclusion that either I chose a bad example as a "starter" Yuri manga, or I'm genuinely not into Yuri. I didn't really FEEL anything while I was reading it. Was it a bad story? Not really. It was extremely hyper-sexualized like most "dirty" manga are. And was the art bad? No. It was well drawn!
I'm a straight female. I enjoy seeing men in sexual situations, whether it's with a female or another man. Sadly, I got no enjoyment from watching two women going at it. To be clear: there's absolutely NOTHING wrong if you like Yuri manga over Yaoi, or the other way around. Everyone has their own preference!

I've never been a fan of yuri manga, but I read a shoujo-ai manga and it was okay so I thought I'd try and read something a little more adult-like (haha the wrong word to use) and I liked the idea of a story about first love... I'm a woman too... And I thought this was extremelly erotic. I mean, it didin't turn me on, but I can't deny it was sexy.
I think so many people are torn about the subject matter in this manga because the S&M play is riding on the line between hardcore and straight up abuse. I admit when he kicked him in the FACE and harmed him I felt kinda disgusted, because I'm pretty sure that's NOT a form of S&M. But here's the thing: the story has a complex psychological twist to it all. It's SUPPOSED to be thought provoking to the reader. My only hope is that the Dom doesn't continue to make the Sub a bloody mess. There are better ways to try and understand someone with a pain kink than to beat the answer out of them, because the Sub has already stated that he doesn't understand why he is the way he is.
I swear this mangaka love/thrives on creating controversial plots.
Yeah I hated how Masumi (the dom) kicked Tobita but I also disliked Tobita for begging for more. I don't just blame the Dom but the sub as well. They are both idiots who's just starting out on bdsm. But in chapter 5 it was established that Tobita does understand the difference between inflicting pleasurable pain and pain that's meant to hurt.
So hopefully it'll be better in the next one if that kiss in the end is an indicator.
I totally agree! I believe they're both at fault when it comes to what happened with the whole kicking incident. Hopefully their communication improves. To me, understanding your partner and their needs/limits would be the most important aspect of BDSM.
