I honestly thought the name would be tteokbokki. That would be cuter. But marshmallow is cute too, I guess (though honestly I don't like marshmallow, it's too sweet).
I really like the font and size used for this official translation. It's nice to read in a comic. Some other manhwa used thin and slanted style, it's tiring to my eyes. Honestly those typesetters should really learn to learn appropriate font for suitable medium.
Also, another note is the family name. Some official translation use front family names, others use last family names. While I don't mind in modern setting, it really bugs me when they use the second option for historical setting. No, it's not Hwi Moyong, it's Moyong Hwi!

If og Oscar is really that much of a genius, then is it really his fault that all his businesses and projects fail? Yes, just because you're a genius doesn't mean that you're a good businessman. But to fail spectacularly? Bet the people who want him dead did something to block him at every turn.
Unfortunately, one thing that this genius lack was human connection. Yes, he didn't trust anyone because of the blocked mana thing, but to not even try asking for help?

Wasn’t he aware that’s he’s a target for an assassination? Great Oscar did mention young Oscar was aware that someone close enough to be around him was the cause of his magic circle being sealed, likely to prevent the white tower from standing up again due to him being a genius. -> so he can’t trust anyone, since anyone is a suspect. Esp since considering they even found out Oscar buying a potion in secret.
Also Him gaining any source of attention from success ( business, theory etc)will likely result in his death since he has no magic to protect himself. Hence why he studied in secrets. Great Oscar also mentioned his behaviour(bad behaviour, slacking, etc) was a purposeful mask, likely to protect his life. The tower master were likely expecting him to have a result (before the reveal of him being unable to use magic) my guess is that Oscar invested in business to fail to completely destroy the hope and expectations of others so his act is more successful, that or he could just be a terrible businessman lol his talent lies in magic after all

So how was it? Seeing that you made someone so traumatized they literally need to eat meds to be able to function? If you're not drowned in guilts yet, do you even have feelings?
Seriously Sunal is so strong to be able to live normally and work like that. He's so strong, wtv that happened in the past must be extremely bad that it broke him.

yeah and the nerve he had? "I want to discuss so I'm bypassing your refusal because you weren't there at the time" from the look of things, the case was pretty big so of course sunal wouln't stay around even more so if he was fired but now that they coincidentally work in the same district he comes to talk? hope the guilt eats him away this piece of ****. at first when he said sunal was a bastard I thought maybe he messed up because of his personality and left the special division with a lot to deal with like if he stirred trouble with someone influent but this? he has no right to call him names when sunal took the fall and was left traumatized without anyone caring for him

Yhea I agree, I hate them too the things they do to sunal is very disgusting, they have no shame at all, and now they want him back, the fact that they abandoned him and letting him do all the work and face it alone. They must not ask him again to come back the pain they caused to him is unforgivable.

I'm sorry, you guys killed the runaways, and took their martial arts? If it's already mixed with another sect's arts, why don't you just burn it? To keep your martial arts pure? Hypocrites.
Of course, this is their ancestors, not the current character's fault. But I can't with the backstory.

Reply:
I don't think purity was the reason, it was the sects secret techniques(like skill books) that they killed them for, they wanted the techniques back. And when they found out this mix technique was actually pretty powerful, they got greedy (maybe?) And wanted it for themselves OR claim it as their own as its a has part of their techniques in it.

Meh.

I get the clan secret martial arts part. But it's pretty much hypocritical to keep the new martial arts because it's powerful, when it's obtained by blood. Might as well declare themselves unorthodox. At least they're honest in their intentions. Bet if the new combined arts is weak, they would burn it up.
It doesn't matter if it's strong or weak, their existence itself is a taboo, so much that people needed to be killed for it. It should not exist. If they allow it to be passed down, then why kill everyone from the clan in the first place? Just kill the 2 sinners and their direct descendants.
Honestly Tang clan is always morally grey compared to other orthodox sects so it's on par with their modus operandi.

Did the art change from season 2 onwards? First time reading it immediately from s1 to s2, and I just realized how different that friend, Ducky (Deokgu?) looked like. The general art style and story pacing doesn't change much so I'm wondering.
Hmm yes, the art studio did change. Fking excellent work they did. I don't even feel the difference.

If the kid is able to behave most of the time but would suddenly explode like that, must've been something affecting him that others can't help with. Maybe pain caused by magic sensitivity? Maybe he has too much magic but no way to release them? Since he's still a kid and people won't let him recharge the magic stone since they believe it to lessen people's lives. Meh, MC can solve that.

The fan translation used a cool name, Specter. And then there's the official translation version LoL. Though I guess it made sense to register a name with your native tongue. I would do that too.
What I'm surprised though is all those foreign (to Korea) people being able to pronounce it. Though I guess since he's world famous, his name must've been mentioned a lot, so people would know by now, unless you're living under a rock.
I remember as a kid, when I turned 10, at the time I feel like I've become such a big person. Suddenly I have two digits to my age. I'm BIG... something like that haha. It's a big hurdle!
So truee
When I was 9, I wish to turned 10 really fast and became a BIG person lol.
