Ngl, I was really into this webtoon till the Indian Caste System got completely bastardized and disrespected. IDGAF if it's fiction, whoever the author is, do not ever use someone else's culture as an aesthetic piece in your story, webtoon, clothes whatever. Especially if you haven't ever researched on it, your ignorance shows. The author could have used a few brain cells to simply come up with a different set of names for a beauty-rank system. People have died in India due to the exploitation of this system and to see this disrespect is astounding tbh. Unless you're Indian, don't bother giving me your 2 cents.
Idk about Indian Caste system but i agree that some of these manhwa authors are very insensitive and lazy at doing research about other cultures to use in their work. In Capable Maid manhwa, the author created a supposed Muslim character and portrayed him as "unnecessarily difficult and bothersome" for requesting food to be prepared in a certain way. It's such a huge turn off how the author used a character that culturally is so close to me to be someone who's trying to start a war. Like bruh that is offensive af.
Basically, in Hindu India, people are divided into 4 different classes, with the Brahmins being at the top, and the Shudras at the bottom. This how jobs, money, level of education, living conditions and basically your level of equality was decided. However, there existed a 5th class, known as the Untouchables (or Dalits) who were simply that, not meant to be touched. Imagine think that a whole group of people were cursed and touching them would be unholy. They had to pick up the trash with their bare hands, dispose of dead animals, manually scavenge, get rotten food and basically lived in horrible, inhumane conditions. They were sub-par humans for thousands of years, and still are treated that way. Imagine being forced to drink water off someone's shoes. Worse than that, imagine being forced to consume human feces or urine. That's what endured and what they still endure. These social divides also forbade inter-caste marriage, otherwise both the bride and groom would be killed by their own families to protect their 'honour'. Even now, after our Constitution criminalized the act of Untouchability, these honour killings continue and the Caste System continues to destroy lives. People of the 5th class eat gutter meat, live in extreme poverty without education, are treated cruelly by other classes, work in life-threatening jobs such as cleaning drains, and basically live horrible lives. Even among the elite Indians, who are 'educated', 'rich' or urban, caste is a highly influential. This author, with her limited, or non-existent knowledge, had no right to include the Caste System and bastardize it so disrespectfully on the basis of looks, calling the Dalit class ugly. She had no right when she could've easily made her own system, to so flagrantly use a system despite the cruel history it has. She's an ignorant, privileged, insensitive woman with little creativity. Sorry for the late reply and the anger I might have displayed, but I hate what this webtoon did, so I dropped it.
Am I the only one confused as to how all these random ass people can talk back to the MC like she's not the heir to the throne like??? I get it's fiction but come on, some common sense please, no matter the setting if you talk to nobility like that you'd get smacked. Literally in the raws the MC and the littlebitchwhosenameIforgot seem to have some kind of show down where MC is constantly disrespected by that little bitch but nothing is done? No consequence is given, MC just gets demeaned. To be fair, Idk how to read the raws but maybe there's some context but I really dislike how indecisive MC is an position of power like gurl you're the fucking heir to the throne rn, get yo shit together!
Ps. sorry for the rant.
PPS. Also, in the next chapter MC does confront the little bitch again who actually has the gall to scream at the fucking Empress like u dumb hoe, do you wanna die?

Yah, I also come across the part where she scream at the empress like are you not scared acting that way to a noble? Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Actually I read the raws and to be honest I literally freak out when her brother (the current king) fall in love with the littlebitchwhosenameIforgot which was a special route something and I was like "What?!?! You swing that way? I thought you are a wise king". Though I must say that bitch does not care who she end up with.... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
But so far the latest chapter (chapter 23) the 4th concubine name Eclot (not sure if that's how his name is spelled) who return from war sided with the FL and put littlebitchwhosenameIforgot in a tight position whether to kill her (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And of course that btch won't die so easily if she were to die then thats the end of the story and of cause we haven't seen the 5th concubine and I can't wait to see him ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Ngl, I don't really feel the chemistry between He Tian and Little Mo, or at least, it's not my type. I enjoyed it a lot more when the OG pair, Jian Yi and Zhen Xi were the main focus but I get why the author added more character. They're still my fave couple~
Ps. I can feel the fangirls rioting with thumbs down~
I think I feel a lot of chemistry
I can tell He tian likes Little Mo.. and I feel like Little Mo what’s to deny his feelings but we can tell he cares for him. Just like the time she tian got injured when they were in the forest in the rain and you could tell Little Mo was about to cry and when he saw He tian the first thing he did was hug him. And also He tian is very touchy, and he also gets jealous too, just like when the girl purposely, or not, fell on Little Mo he pushed her off before she could get to it. Idk I feel a lot of chemistry between them and I really like them a lot. All 4 of them are really interesting. Why don’t you feel any chemistry though? If anything I feel a lot of lingering chemistry between them though, also with Jian Yi and Zhen Xi
Yeah, I get where you're from doe I clarified that in my first sentence; their relationship isn't really my type. I don't really recall the exact circumstances because I started reading this years ago, but their relationship and characters never really clicked for me like Jian Yi and Zhen Xi did, doe tbh I was also a little salty because those 2 were getting less screen time (imo) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I definitely don't dislike either He Tian or Little Mo, I like them both, I just don't care about the romantic aspect. (=・ω・=)
Yeah true
Oh okay. I love their relationship and I’m always looking for to them. Though I’m looking forward to all of them too. I just personally love them. But we all have our preferences and I can’t argue with you for that :)
Looking forward *
I enjoy reading about Mo and He Tian for the character development. Their relationship feels like a journey. It makes you wonder will they ever get to the point that Jian Yi and Zhen Xi are at and with their relationship changing I feel a hope that it does so I want to see how it happens. With Jian Yi and Zhen Xi, you can tell that they love each other from start. The most “growth” we got from them is that love confession but even after that not much changed because they already are the most important people in each other lives. With these two I’m more interested in the future, what happens after “one day”. Jian Yi is trying to get back what might be have been lost during his time away and I wonder if Zhen Xi feels the same or wants to keep his distance so he didn’t go through that pain again.
I love this comment
What a sweet comment ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ You just gave me a new interpretation of He Tian and Little Mo and I really liked it! Thanks for your reply~
