Why is the skin color for her sister in her past life so sporadic? In the begining chapters she had pale skin here: ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_emperor_s_companion/nbt/mpn_chapter-2056763/7/ ) and then in the middle it’s much darker and I was confused as to who the fuck that was until I pieced it together ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_emperor_s_companion/nbt/mpn_chapter-2271033/pg-2/ )
And then later on her skin is lighter than the other skin color ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_emperor_s_companion/nbt/nml_chapter-50/pg-9/ )
But besides that, I really can’t stand the ML. I like the story but the Ml is so unlikeable and it shows a lot. He’s childish, he doesn’t listen, he’s petty, he abuses his power, he’s disrespectful even to our female lead and he shows zero character development. Also, how the fuck was she supposed to “remember” him as her fiancé if she never knew. What is there to remember if she never knew you?? It doesn’t make sense that she remembers her brother but at least it’s more logical considering that’s her literal blood. It’s so gross of him to kiss her as soon as she woke up and try to immediately marry her and for him to prance around saying he’s her mate and that they’re to be married even though she clearly doesn’t want to. Even before the oracle.
Anywaysss, I love Andrew and Salome. Andrew us an anthem and Salome is a queen. I said what I said.
This whole chapter just doesn’t sit right with me.
Jieun is playing the victim card about not knowing how to deal with love and her not getting love from Ruve but having the audacity to point out Tia’s miscarriages etc even though she was the one that caused it as well. That’s just bullshit. All of it. Her way of trying to scare Tia off is dumb as hell.
Tia forgiving Ruve and giving him a second chance which is ok because he didn’t commit those things yet but it’s absolutely fucking wild considering that he literally killed her. It would be nice if the author included ptsd and mourning for her lost child etc into tias character considering all that she went through. It’s crazy how she’s willing to take the change of getting into a relationship with him again.
The fact that Jieun straight up thinks she can talk to Tia like that as if she’s giving ADVICE and on top of that she was talking shit about Ruve to Tia to try to turn her against him because she realized even after Tia was killed she still couldn’t have him but still lusted after him because she wanted the crown. If at the first time she wasn’t satisfied what the fuck does she think she can do this time?
All of it feels like bullshit. I understand the reasoning behind it but it’s just...what is it, edge? Anxiety? Angst? Complicated???
I already have accepted that Tia unfortunately will end up with ruve(aka Fake kaito)... but it is as you and many other's have pointed out... that isn't healthy... it's an unmesuruable distance from that... she is broken, she took years to believe in paternal and friendly love... romance is off limits to her... but she still feels shote for ruve >:( and nfjsjfjed aaaa it's all a mess... I just ship Tia with happiness...
