Ngl this manga is pretty bad, the illustrations are dope and I applaud the translator (thank you translator) but this story is so generic you can literally see the ending and we’re not even half way done with the story. The uke has no backbone and little to no character. It’s the same with the seme except he’s supposed to be mysterious but he just comes off as a self absorbed ass hole. Also, where’s the love and emotion? It’s safe to assume that this manga is a love story but where is the connection between the characters besides or uke wanting to get dicked down and our seme wanting to clap some cheeks? Come on, you either throw some fluff in their or some psychological shit. There’s an in between but this manga doesn’t have that either. So wwd?
I may be confused but I think she just doesn’t want to be compared to her anymore. If she were to take Feng kuns offer then she would be constantly compared and put at a high standards. And even if people are raging now they would probably still rage if she took that position and became famous because they would think she’s mooching off of Xia ling and Feng kun rather she work for it herself then she could build her own fame and get what she deserves. That way they can’t rage as they would the opposition.
One thing to point is what keeps a novel, book or movie interesting is what’s at the stakes. You can’t just have a plot with no stakes because it’s boring and the plot literally is the stakes. That’s what this manga lacks. There’s nothing on the line, no threat, no problem in the long term that needs to be addressed. We are well over 100 chapters and she’s still worrying about petty things for her father. The story was on a decline from the get go and there’s no salvaging it.
The fact that this is an isekai worsens if as well. The thing about Ria’s character is that she’s incredibly naive, stupid, and irrational. She’s supposed to be this grown woman in a child’s body that has wisdom or some intelligence over her peers because she has a better understanding. However, that whole segment is completely disregarded and she was more intelligent when she was a damn toddler than as she is now a teenager. Can someone explain this to me? What’s not clicking in this equation?
Also, what’s the plot? What’s the plot? What’s the plot of this isekai??? Where is it? What’s the plot? If you consider this plot then this “plot” has been dragging on for 100+ chapters and I’m still struggling to piece together what the fuck it is. It’s like it’s filler everywhere. And at that, the question is why? Why can’t we have plot? Why is she so dumb? Why isn’t her dad and Asisi aging? Why are we existing? Just why?
